FAQ/Tips
How do i use the widget
Event Flow is a widget, so you need to place it on your homescreen from your widget list. The procedure varies slightly depending on the specific Android version and your device model, but it usually is done by long pressing on an empty place of your homescreen, selecting the "Widgets" option and dragging the desired widget to the homescreen.
The widget is not updating
That's probably because your device has some kind of battery saving settings that prevent the widget from updating (it needs to update itself once a day and before/after each event). Please check your device's app and battery settings and make sure that they don't interfere with the widget's operation. You can find more info here: https://dontkillmyapp.com/
Why aren't reminders available
Google hasn't yet made reminders available for third-party apps. We're keeping an eye on it to see if that changes.
My Outlook/Exchange calendar isn't showing up
If you're using the Outlook Android app, go into the app's settings, select the account you want to see and make sure that the option "Sync calendars" is active. If that doesn't work/isn't possible, you might be able to add your Outlook/Exchange account in your device's Settings->Accounts, and access those calendars via Google's Calendar app, which should also make them available on the widget.
My Birthdays/Contacts/Other calendar is not showing up or is not being synchronized
The widget only reads the local calendar database that's on your device, which is maintained by Android and your Calendar App. Sometimes there can be issues with the synchronization, and a refresh can help: In your device's Settings->Accounts->Select your account->Account sync refresh the "Calendar" and "Contacts" option. Then, open Google's Calendar app, go into the side menu, and deselect/select the affected calendars.
How do i set up the widget to look like in the screenshots
Most of the screenshots show the 2 widgets simultaneously: On the top place the Calendar Widget, resized to occupy one row, and on the bottom the Agenda Widget, without the header (configured in the agenda settings). Then just choose the colors you like the most.
I would like to select an exact color for one of the options
In the color picker for that option, tap the center circle that displays the color and you'll be able to enter the Hexadecimal code for the color you want (include the alpha component - 0x00 transparent, 0xFF solid color). You can also copy/paste that code to/from another item.

Permissions
We dislike apps that ask a lot of permissions without justifying them. So here's what we need and why:
Calendar: To read your calendar events. Without this permission the widget doesn't work, so it is mandatory.
Location: To show the weather forecast for your location. This is optional, you can opt not to grant this permission and not show the weather forecast or manually choose a location for the forecast.

Excellent widget. I was running the Google calendar widget in a 2x3 grid but everything was cut off. Not only does this widget allow me to shrink the text size down and make everything fit but much better aesthetics with the color options. Would have paid 10x what they're charging for the premium version. Would love to see similar for Google Tasks widget.

Really nice widget. Just found that as a replacement for my previously used one (which was free before but they want to have now lot of money for a Pro version with benefits I never use). This widget is perfect - also the price for Pro is amazing! Instant buy! A small feature request (or probably I haven't seen it so far): can you add tasks from Google Calendar also to the widget?

🙋🙏 What a wonderful application! I'm particularly impressed by its flexibility, and customization options. The widget is fully adaptable to different needs, and I appreciate that it requires no special permissions. One feature I find especially useful is the ability to jump to today's date with just a single click on the "year" , Easy to link it to any calender,

best calendar widget I have found! I am currently using it with Nova launcher and it easily matches my custom widgets so much better than so many other apps. it's seamless, always working and syncs perfectly every day. having the month calendar at the top half of the screen with a scrolling schedule in the bottom half of the screen has been amazing. 10/10. need to delve into more of the features as I set it up ages ago and left and forgot because it just works so well 🤣

Working great! Good UI and exposing just the right level of customisation! Just make sure you keep enabled "Share Google Calendar data with other apps" in the Calendar settings. Would be great if we could display up to 6 months of events on the agenda widget instead of 3 months max at the moment.

Completely customizable!! Google calendar widget doesn't even allow you to change the size or transparency which is so annoying. This widget allows you to do both as well as change text size and color current day indicator color and transparency, bars or dots for event indicators, etc. You can link your Google calendar accounts to be able view the different events directly on the widget through the app settings.

gave it a second star cuz it used to work. won't update at all at this point and I checked the battery settings so that's not the issue. my guess is a newer version of Android broke it? it sees events that are long gone but doesn't see anything recent. not sure what happened but it's currently unusable. please fix this!

I've tried a many calendar widget but this is my choice. Users can configure by themselves many things & upgrade just a buck. However, it should be improved something: - Firstly, when choosing circle as indicating current day, it fits almost the square and on my phone the shape isn't circle anymore. - Secondly, the default calendar widget is 4x3 but when resizing to 3x3 it looks awkward with just 2 week show up. May be 3 is better. - Lastly, I'll much appreciated if u provide lunar calendar Cheer
