Predictable is a multi-award winning text-to-speech app for people with conditions such as ALS/MND, autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, and more. It aims to make it easier and quicker to communicate, using a range of access methods, rate enhancement features and customisation options.

Word Prediction
Using smart word prediction technology, the app makes speaking out a text-based message easy. Predictable learns from your pattern of use and predicts what you will type next, making typing easier and more efficient.

Phases and categories
Save and organise phrases that you need quick access to in a simple grid format. Further customise your phrases by adding symbols, images, audio recordings, links and more.

Shortcuts

Appearance
Customise the layout and appearance to truly optimise the app to your preferences by changing the layout, font size, colours and more. Different keyboard options (including QWERTY, Ten Key, Apple and Bluetooth) and different templates (including Dark, High Contrast and Low vision) are available to make this customisation clear and simple.

I have voice loss issues and have tried other aac apps, which have been okay but slow because of no predictive text. This app is perfect for a literary individual if you don't want to use aac apps that are more picture based. The interface of this is relatively simple too, without having to go through multiple layers of menus and screens like some which again makes it faster to use. Both the predictive text and the appearance is very customisable which makes it a great experience to engage with

My mum uses this app constantly as she has lost the ability to speak due to illness, ever since the update to the app in the last few weeks it is constantly freezing or the app isn't responding and closes, please please can you fix the issues as this is the only way we can communicate. Thank you

The revised version of Predictable is a very good tool for the speech impaired. All the previous bugs have been fixed and the new design looks a lot better .There is a learning curve for new users and it is best to start with short sentences but i would highly recommend to anyone with speech problems

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has communication difficulties. When I speak to new people they understand me straight away, shopkeepers are very helpful and go out of their way to be understanding.
