The QuickSupport app by TeamViewer allows you to get instant IT support for your mobile, tablet, Chromebook or Android TV.In just a few easy steps, QuickSupport enables your trusted remote partner to connect to your device to:

I don't like the orange border, or the orange button that invades my screen space, and even stops me from accessing that portion of my screen. Makes it hard to type, on mobile. Otherwise, it's good. it could run smoother, could use more features, as it feels a little bare, but it does what I need it to do.

WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS! Had an email from "PayPal" with an invoice for a recent purchase, but I didn't use PayPal to buy it. Was concerned and called the number provided, only to be told that I had been hacked and I needed to download this app so he could cancel the "purchase" and refund me. As soon as I saw that this would give them remote access to my device I uninstalled and reported them to actual PayPal. Only got it back long enough to warn others, so they don't risk being scammed as well.

Unbelievable, I called because I had a problem with a chime transfer that I wanted to cancel. They tried to get me to download this app to allow remote access into my computer, ultimately accessing my bank info. I immediately had a bad feeling so hung up. I called chime directly and even they could not fix the problem. If I did not know better I would've went through with downloading this app and allowing access to my computer. I can not believe they get away with this. Complete scam!!

Works great until one day Teamviewer thinks your use is commercial, and then they only let you use it for 30 seconds at a time before disconnecting you for 10 minutes. I filled out the form declaring that my use was non-commercial, scanned it and sent it to Teamviewer, but it made no difference. I'd be willing to pay for personal use of the product, but it's not even an option.

I use TeamViewer and/or quick support with AIRA, and have their agents do things on my phone that I cannot. Several years ago, this app was a godsend, but now agents can't act on my phone even though given permission, and even though universal add-on has been enabled, which, it is said needs to happen. They can still look at my screen, but it's all up to me to do things. If my screen reader doesn't recognize, for example, that's something is a button, I can't click on it. Neither can they.

Updated... it's been almost 4 weeks and I tried it again. Seems to be working fine now. Was able to get my dad's Android phone back in order. Old Review... Used to be easy and great for controlling an Android phone from a PC... I used it to fix my 83 year old dad's phone across the country. Now I can't get it to work even after troubleshooting for several days, and blindly walking my dad through multiple screens and menus. The best I can do is view his screen.. can't control it at all.

For some reason they make it super complicated to connect to another person's phone, I don't understand how it's so hard to just make a quick connect button that doesn't require any prompts, I use this to help my grandmother with her phone but so far it's worked 1 of the 10 times I've tried it, there's no way I'd ever pay for any premium service if the free one is trash. The prompt gives her 3 different options even though it should just be "yes" or "no" which confuses her.

In short, a good app that's now hampered by flawed 'commercial use' detection and slowness. The good: It's free and easy to use. The bad: Uses too much resources that end up heating up and crashing my phone. Sluggish compared to alternatives. Lately, just times out within seconds of connecting to my personal phone, which makes it unusable. Therefore, I no longer use, or recommend it. AnyDesk works, and works better, free.
