Very helpful app, but a bit confusing. What happens when the star on the top left gets filled? And how do you fill it? I've been using the app for almost two hours and the star is almost filled, but never gets there. Also, when it's playing notes, I could swear that either some of the frequencies are off by almost a half step or the colored dots are in the wrong place, especially in the higher notes of the A and E strings. Maybe it's just me.

Good app. Perfect for beginner violin players who want to become fluent in reading the notation and training the ear to identify the correct notes. The "play" section can sometimes be a little confusing. Also, maybe more functions like a tuner, metronome, etc. could be incorporated which would make it more complete.

By FAAAAR the best way to start learning sheet music. It literally trains you where to find each note and in 30 minutes I already learned so much. Way more than I could on my own time. No idea why this had no reviews. Its a neat training course. EDIT! I finished learning all of it and I am thankful for it. One issue though. When you get into the last phase and you get sharps and flats, I found that some of the things I say are "wrong" and send to the left get found as a false mistake.

Easy and enjoyable to use. In a few days I can read the music and identify which note it is on the neck of the violin. The questions where you have to identify the note on sound alone are much more difficult and require you to attune your ear. It would help if the app allowed you to run through the scales to help to learn to identify the sound of each note. Unfortunately it only gives random notes to identify, which makes it much harder. But I'm very happy it has taught me to read sheet music.

I really like this app so far. I'm a brand new violin student and I have been searching for apps to help me learn to read music better and develop my ear. This app is helpful for that. It would be so much better if I could customize what strings and notes I want to study, so I can limit what is presented to what I am learning and not have to deal with so much that I have not even touched yet. Being given all of the notes presented to me so far has been too much for me right now.

If only had it a few days but it has dramticly helped me learn to read sheet music. I really like how it teaches you how to know not only the notes but which string it is intended to be played on also. If went from not being able to read at all to being able to transpose sheet music into tablature within 3 times of using it. I havnt seen anything better plus it's free so I would give it five stars but I havnt had time to see if there are any flaws yet.

A near perfect experience to learn both to sight read as well as learn the violin strings in first position! Easy Violin Notes should be a must have in any aspiring musician's repetoir because it just works wonders. Holding back a star only because It has crashed on my LG v30 a couple times if you dont let the end results load all the way before re-trying but it gets up and running immediately after crashing with no other bugs to speak of. Also would love to have choice of no accidentals.

Wonderful app, but adds started popping up every few minutes even when I don't have the app going at all. clearing task manager does nothing. virus. unlock phone. close ad. open messenger. close ad. even while I am on the app, ad. typing a text message. ad, and accidentally click ad while typing a text. writing this review, I had to close an ad.
