BDS Laundry Start is an iPhone/Android application providing the easiest and smartest complete laundry solution. This app allows you to pay for laundry cycles from your account by using Bluetooth to communicate with the washer or dryer.

Simply use BDS Laundry Start to purchase credit right from the app, then use that credit for your laundry. A full accounting is available to see your transaction purchase history.

• Start laundry machines via Bluetooth by scanning QR code on the machine
• Check your card/account balance, and add value to your account for laundry.

For participating laundry rooms, you can view machine availability as well as receive alerts when your laundry cycle is complete.

Why do even offer an app if have the time it takes me 10 minutes of scanning to get the dryer to work, while the other dryer connected and is running. I love 3 floors away and get very irritated, as an asthmatic, at having to make multiple trips down to collect my items. Connect the cards to the accounts if your not going to have a fully working system! I refuse to pay for a card to have money separate from the app. I don't have cash just lying around for this!

After checking through all my notifications no matter what I seem to do I do not typically receive the notification that something has been completed unless I unlock my device and have my Bluetooth connected. Can't complain too much though when you can let customer service know when there's an issue anytime of the day and if something does happen, customer service is pretty decent to speak with about getting the problem resolved.

charges an extra 25 cents to run a dryer for 5 whole extra minutes and it's a forced pop up that could easily trip up anybody not fully paying attention, as far as I'm concerned, that's deserving of a 1 star review. This goes without mentioning the atrocious amount of time it takes to actually use the app to get things going or the fact that it literally doesn't send you notifications most of the time. Pointless.

This app works fine and it is nice to not need cash. However, there have been times I think it double charges or deleted money between uses. And it doesn't always connect well to the machines. It is hard to get the machines started through the app and if the app stops working the timer is deleted and will not alert when the load is finished. This is a frequent occurrence. Great in theory but a poorly maintained app. Frequent crashes. Forced to use by my complex because there is no cash option.

It's just an on button. I thought the concept was cool until I realized that all it does is start the machines. The time graph doesn't load, I can't see the remaining time on a cycle I start and when I check room availability, it always says the machines are "Available" when someone else is clearly using it. Keeping it for the simplicity of using the machine. Apart from that, I'm disappointed.

This app is convenient and easy to use, however: it steals your money. You can only put money in 10 dollar increments, and if you use $3.50 for an entire load and close the app, the next time you open it you will have less money in it (an extra dollar or two missing from your remaining total.) I've talked to my neighbors and they've noticed this as well. This is unethical. If the app is going to charge some kind of fee to use it, it should disclose that instead of stealing my laundry money!

Mesmerizing Reflections

Rejects every time I try to add money to my balance. States call bank. Bank doesn't know why it rejects. It shows it was withdrawn and immediately credited again. Live time availability of machines is wrong. It says 0 out of 0 available, no matter what. We have at least three washers and dryers on each floor. This app sucks.

Can't do laundry because it is stuck "Connecting to machine... Please wait." even though Bluetooth, location, and data are all good. Restarted the app multiple times, toggled airplane mode on/off, but still stuck. Left me enough time to make this negative review. Also, the "Room Status" tab is useless because it always says 0 of 0 available. EDIT: Finally worked, so added a star, but more could be done on the back-end to error check and re-try connections.
