Pros: 1) Game concept itself is good for a time killer. 2) Good thought was put into the skills and traits of units, heroes, and towers. Different combos/arrangements have different effects. Cons: 1) The ads are horrifically long with multiple layers you have to X out of. You pray for something short like a 25-30 second Home Depot ad. 2) An event pass is $12 for a single event that last a few days. Must be purchased if you want the new character. 3) No substantial rewards for grinding.

While the game is fun, it is 100% PTW. You need to spend money to have a chance at events. You need to have a dedicated device with an autoclicker. The timings on free items are every five hours encouraging unhealthy playing habits. It has potential, but feels like money is more important than fun/design (which is likely the goal of most games, but they're not trying to be subtle). Also, they reward early reviews, so likely most people didn't play that long before reviewing.
Uncommon Sense
While the game is fun but repetitive, I cannot with a good conscience give anything more than 1 star. This app has gone out of its way to make everything pay to win. These games/apps like this one have ruined any reputation they could of had. There is event after event, just hard enough to keep anyone paying for the event scratching their head. You'll need to pay more, or play till your fingers bleed to get to certain levels. Sad state of gaming we're in today.

Base game is pretty solid but you don't get to play as there are back to back events which occur every 4 days that take up your time Sure you don't have to play them but then you miss out on necessary items. During the events you quickly hit a pay wall as you can't proceed without spending money so they expect you to pay money every 4 days. It's non invasive with ads which is nice but the expectation to spend money is overbearing. Played for a couple weeks and then lost interest soon after

Played for about 5 hours. I loved it. Great potential. Unfortunately, there is only one guide out there and it points to strategies and heroes that are no longer available. It looks like they removed or locked up a lot of their content behind a paywall. New players will find the road very short, around 5 to 10 hours, before needing to pull out the credit card. Deleted!

Actually a really fun tower defense! Only issue is it's packed full of pay-to-play features that are frankly absurd. If you want to earn new heroes during the event you have to pay them 12 dollars. Not just once either - this is per hero per event. Then you ALSO have to beat the event to get said hero. Granted the 12 dollar package makes it easy, but still, 12 dollars just to unlock 1 reward from 1 quest is way too much. Maybe if it were cheaper, like 2-3 bucks each they'd have me fooled. But no

Overall: just OK. Complaints (in no particular order): 1. You need to spend money to gain any real benefit from events. 2. On top of that, most, if not all, of the in-game purchases are overpriced, in my opinion. I have no problem spending $2-3 to disable ads and support developers; $12 is a bit much. 3. The passive gold income does not work offline; you must be in the game to gain anything, slowing your progress (the events' currency does work offline, so it's clearly intentional).

Time Waster Has it for a few months now - paid for no ads - paid for a few events to get decent characters - in the 500 levels now and I haven't seen a weekly event in a while - and I no longer do the 'seasonal events' because I'm not seeing a way to get those characters without paying even more. Wasn't completely boring - but I have hit my limit.
