Running 4 fans for over a year. Fans are great. App, not so much. Repeatedly disconnects from wifi, though no issues from router and strong, uninterrupted signals in every room. So, I'm forced to reset the router because turning off power to the fans no longer does the trick. it's frustrating not being able to refresh the signal through the app. More frustrating that it's even an issue. Funny, I never have these types of issues with my thermostat, gaming console, media players, etc.

We purchased three of the Aviator 54 fans, and so far, we love them. They are extremely quiet and move so much air. beautiful with and without the lighting kit. Once the fans were synced to the app, it has been working great. was even able to group both fans in our bedroom into one so we can control them at the same time. The breeze feature is unique as well. great purchase.

Works well with Alexa. Easy set up and connected right away with ease. I can control on off, speed, direction either from the wall switch, app, or by voice. The light is set up as a separate light so that also can be controlled either by the app, wall switch or Alexa. No problems so far after 6 weeks of use.

Modern Fan? Paid almost 900 for 3 of these fans just to find out the app has no connectivity at all, crashes whenever open the networks and does not connect at all. If you bought it, just like me, make sure to also write a review on Amazon. Edit: We are ALREADY working on a "one-on-one" approach, in case you don't know. I've been writing you for about a month and your so-called "technical support" said they would verify the issue and NEVER returned.

Unbelievably ineffective. Just spent over an hour of my life trying to connect one fan. Followed directions repeatedly. Every single time it stalls out when it says "Wait for your Android device that join Wi-Fi network" All the while my Android device is already connected to the Wi-Fi network. I love the look of the fan but based on our installation I cannot use a wall remote and need the app to work. Which it doesn't. Ridiculous.

This app was very challenging and frustrating at the start. I'm the kind of person who likes to set things up himself without having to call customer service. But I felt like I kept going in circles so finally I called the 800 number which I found in one of the other reviews. The fan specialist helped me to set up both of my fans and they're working great now. Part of the problem was my Orbi system. I had to bypass it and go directly to my CenturyLink router.

Pairing never works. useless. edit: spent hours working with tech support, fan cannot work with my modern Synology router. Plugged in and old crappy Wi-Fi router and was able to pair, only to find out that the app is pretty useless even when paired. It's completely impossible to create and save a schedule, integrations don't work, etc. Modern forms needs to outsource this app to some professionals. If you just bought one of these fans, return it and save yourself the trouble.

Worst app I have ever installed/tried to use. I've wasted far too much of my time trying to get this app to work. I called Modern Forms and was endlessly on hold, ended up leaving a message and they said they would call me back...never happened. In the meantime I've wasted much more time trying to get it to work. Mind you, I have Nest and other smart home apps and have had NO trouble getting them to work. Very frustrating!!
