IT Expert here. The app could not connect/pair to the Bosch dishwasher and i followed the instructions. My blue tooth and wifi works for other devices. I tried using the app to see any error codes since all my lights are flashing. Bad product design to lock features behind a useless application. Last thing we need is smart homes and appliances connected to WiFi since they have little security against hackers malware according to security experts.

This app is awful. I registered the new Bosch dishwasher with it and have been trying to connect to wifi for several days. When I get to the point of establishing a connection, I get a "redirecting" message, and then nothing happens. Home Connect support was baffled so I'm calling Bosch next. The dishwasher works fine and is very quiet, but some basic features cannot be accessed using the control panel so you are driven to the horrendous app.

Can Be Useful But With Large Tradeoffs. Setting dishwasher to run off hours used to take one button on the machine, now it takes opening this app, connecting, clicking set, selecting delay, pressing OK. If you open the dishwasher to add 1 plate, it's cancelled and you have to start over. Good luck if >1 person wants to use the app. Connections works well for me (unlike some other posters) but set up is unconventional and effectively undocumented since every model appliance works differently.

Utterly and totally useless! I was initially able to get the app downloaded and connected to my new Bosch dishwasher; however, after less than a week, the app just crashes on me and gives me the error "Oops. Looks like something went wrong. Try again"? Unfortunately, clicking the "Try Again" button does absolutely nothing. I have a degree in Computer Science and am fairly proficient in these sorts of things; however, I am not able to successfully troubleshoot this one? I've emailed them.

Installed a new bosch washer and downloaded this app. Connect the dishwasher to my network and then this app found it. It was great for 3/4 of the first wash cycle, then the dishwasher suddenly was gone from the home page. Tried to reconnect. App shows dishwasher as recognized...but still have to try and find it as a new appliance. App tries to connect and fails with a Bluetooth error. Can't delete machine from app...can't do anything anymore..make adjustments or download manuals. SUCKS!

Worked for one day and then stopped. After one day, my brand new Thermador fridge lost connectivity to the app and just refused to connect again. I tried basically everything: resetting network connectivity, resetting Bluetooth, nothing makes any difference. Contacted support team and still no luck. Not sure whether this is fridge (specific, dishwasher still working) issue - but such basic functionality should be working. Both Android and iOS apps stopped working, interestingly.

Literally terrible instructions and won't pair. I reset dishwasher, turn off for 10 sec. Turn on, hold wifi button and it shows c on and flashing wifi signal. App says something different. Then I press next and it always times out. I can see the dishwasher in my Bluetooth and click pair and it says must be done from app. So tell me how is this app not useless. Oh and I scanned both the door qr and one on paper that came with it.

Bosch home app is terrible. All I want to do is have a delayed start for my dishwasher, but I am forced to use the app for that. The app takes forever to connect to my dishwasher, and I when I try to hit the quick button to start it based on my preferred schedule (which is a delayed start) the dishwasher starts immediately instead. It's a mess. I do not recommend this app or any Bosch products that make you to use the app for simple features such as delayed start.
