I actually purchased this game. The overall mechanics of writing like grammar, spelling, and plot were very good. The world built was unique. You are death incarnate and you harvest tongues and are invisible. Sounds really cool. The characters are all unique, well defined and relatable. Different playthroughs will have different characters you grow close to. The game felt like a school or college with tons of bureaucracy and intrigue involved. Somewhat difficult game to get a good ending.

The story is engaging and entertaining with an interesting and somewhat novel concept. The stats are meaningful. The characters aren't particularly deep, but they serve their purposes well. Unfortunately, there are a few issues. The story is too short for any real world-building to take place. It's hard to become invested in the multiple narratives (career, Zythians, 'animal rights', etc) because there isn't time to explore them. The endings are as abrupt as the character limit makes this review

The setting is very interesting, super unique and gets delightfully dark at times. Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the fact that, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the characters themselves seem copy-pasted. I did two different playthroughs romancing two different characters (by accident, no less; there must be some coding glitch) and ended up with them both saying the same things to me and behaving in the same ways to me across the two playthroughs. That aside, I love the fact that the options are fairly broad, and allow you to play as manipulative and cunning, which is not an option you get often in these games.

One of my favorite apps/stories. Loved the very unique setting. You can really craft your character through your choices and interactions with others. Honestly the only not positively shining thing I could say is the ending I got was a little abrupt, but not even it was bad, just unexpected and I did still like it. Definitely worth supporting the writer and I look forward to anything else they put out.

I don't see why the reason for low reviews, this was masterful story telling! Keeping me hooked from start to finish. Interesting side characters, good romance options! And a lot solid decisions to make that'll shape you along with the story! You can really connect with some of the collections u do, even feel grief and sorrow. Loved it and enjoyed it thoroughly!

Like everyone else, the story felt like it was cut short, and the character development wasn't enough because they say the same things sometimes and that this only happened in a matter of days?? It's too sudden!!! And this is the only CoC book I had difficulty with because i just couldn't understand how a certain choice was related to that attribute/stat. It was good, my friend loved it but it wasn't enough for me

I really enjoyed this game. I loved the story and the world and the characters. My only criticisms is it ended kind of abruptly? At least the path I took. And it was sometimes hard to tell what options would work best with the traits I'd built up. I still enjoyed the game thoroughly and would recommend it. :)

I really *wanted* to like this. The premise was very interesting, and something unique I hadn't thought of before. Unfortunately this is drowned out by how railroaded the story is. The characters, while distinct, always act in precisely the same way almost in spite of your choices. There are no alternate routes, and what little romance is available (not the main theme I understand, but would have made the material less dry) is shared between all available romance partners. They are copy and pasted, the only difference often being the name of the partner. It also ends rather abruptly for my tastes, and came unexpectedly. One thing I will commend(?), it actually felt like I was in a legitimate bureucracy haha.
