This app does actually let you listen to your audiobooks (most of the time), which I'm thankful for in itself. It doesn't have a Now Playing button, menu, or section. When you open it up again, you have to find the last book from the list. Sorting by most recent is helpful. No option for only showing downloaded books. Most times when I open the app, even when listening already, it will pause and won't play until I select the chapter again, which resets it. Why can't it remember?

So they finally fixed the app, so it is usable again(not sure when). But I'm not a fan of the layout still. I prefer to download my books and not stream, and they make it hard to do that unless you dig. There is no way to select just 1 book and stay on that or easily resume play if you close out the app. You have to remember which book(if you have many) you were listening to. So, while it's great to have the app back in service the interface NEEDS MORE WORK!

I used to enjoy this app for downloading books and listening offline and on the go. Now, the offline feature seems to have disappeared and it crashes whenever I try to play a book. Unfortunately, I'll need to download all the mp3s and import them to another app from phone storage. Or, I'd be okay with rolling back the app to a year-old version, if available.

Good experience now. Used to not pause when getting a phone call, but that's been fixed. Otherwise smooth downloads and operation. Biggest improvement would be to allow storing data to SD card. My audiobook library in here uses up 20% of my phone's internal memory while the extra storage card sits half empty. I get low storage warnings for internal memory & this app dwarfs all the rest. Allow option to move data storage to card like many other apps do now and I'd give 5 stars.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the audio pause when Google Maps starts talking! They drown each other out! And PLEASE make the rewind button configurable so I can set it to 10 seconds! 30 seconds is WAY WAY too long! Having listened to dozens of books, I almost NEVER need to rewind more than 10 seconds, and on the very rare occasions when I do, I can just tap the button multiple times! A LOT happens in 30 seconds of reading, and it's HIGHLY annoying to have to re-listen to all that!

Limited feature. It's very inconvenient to use when driving. You can't download audiobooks beforehand. There is no easy way to open, play and navigate the player, especially while driving. No folders, so dealing with over 60 audiobooks is very annoying... It crashes sometimes. Sometimes it stops playing when the chapter is over. It also seems to forget the last position in the chapter, so one has to start with the whole chapter again.

Same problem as others- lag with 'please wait' , not being able to load the offline versions- I saved them all specifically over the past 5 years!!! I wouldn't have downloaded this version without writing down my favorites😭😭. I have so many books, it is impossible to quickly go though the list to the most recent book and place. I would give this update zero stars. Streaming is awesome, but not at the expense of ease, organization, customization, and lost data...

Since the update it's become almost impossible to listen. I get LONG "please wait" messages and about half the time, after waiting several minutes I get a message that it is unable to play. So I have to restart the app and all the waiting (sometimes 3-4 rounds of this) before I can finally listen. The description says you can download for off line listening but I cannot find that option anywhere in the app. Very disappointing
