i used to love Channel 9 news until they started reporting half stories. like the latest mass shooting. they reported 6 killed, then i got a notification saying i think 4 or 5 killed, then another notification with the actual 2 killed. they should have reported the shooting and given updates as info came in with the correct tally. instead, they spread misinformation almost as bad as Trump and his cronies . now I only do weather updates bc i figure that info from channel 9 is fairly accurate.

I thought in the past I was able to just select weather alerts. Now, I get weather AND news alerts. I went into the alert settings, and only the weather alert was selected. So, I'm not sure what the problem is or if there is one. Anyway, I really like KMBC weather and the weather alerts, but I will uninstall the app because I don't want ANY news alerts. Please just make an app for your weather forecasts ONLY.

Never can find the stories you get notified on. I will get pop ups with a story and click on it if there's any sort of issue with the internet or anything else where it can't take me directly from that pop-up you can never find that story on their news page once you go there or sometimes you'll click on it and it'll just take you to the new page and the little preview that you saw in your notifications is nowhere to be found. It's very frustrating

Awful app. Everything is a "storm" - I get way too many push notifications that a "storm" is approaching only to drop everything to look at my phone and discover I'm being alerted to a "brief rain shower". This feels like the attention seeking behavior that makes people ignore tornado warnings due to the news stations crying wolf one time too many. Uninstalling.

Tried this app several times and always dumped it. I don't mind pop up ads from time to time, that's fine. The way this app is presented, you get only partial headline, and must "click" on the whole story instead of being able to tell from the headline if you're interested. Moving on.

Please, I'm begging. Make an option so your app only alerts me for tornadoes. I don't need your theme tune screaming at me randomly unless it's something urgent. Tornadod are urgent. A storm or temperature change is not startle me sound important. ;_; I wanna keep the app but it's useless with out the option to have it only ever alert for tornadoes.

Love the app and the weather radar Update: I wish I could have this app for the weather only. The articles are very biased and now that my life and my job has been tampered with I can't follow this channel anymore. Journalism takes 2 sides of the story, gets the facts, and puts them together. What I've seen is get the facts from another source, get 1 angry customer that is lying to sound more dramatic, and report while acting repulsed. There's an entire staff here that feels betrayed by them.

Used to love this app, but it is the only weather app on my phone that will not give me push or sound notifications, despite checking all my phone and app settings. Still love Channel 9 and all the meteorologists though, only station I trust!
