Works well for me. I have the hard mount 50A unit. I have it mounted just inside by the physical plug. I retain the factory power cord, less bulky, and cluttered at the meter base. I see people have issues with connections, but i can say i never have issues. I am about 10 feet or less from my WD usually, so im within in the capabilities of bluetooth. The app itself is not fancy. It does its job and nothing more. This is the reason for 4. It would be nice to have history and auto connect.

Great physical product, app is awful. 9/10 times I try and connect from literally 5 feet away if that and it can not find the device. I occasionally have to go out my phone touching it to get it to find it. Kind of defeats the purpose of having an app to begin with. Also sometimes bugs out and shows 0 volts 0 amps as if I had no power despite still having shore power. Like I said before, glad I got the actual physical product. I got the hardwired version and was easy enough to install.

Poor application it will not load my info onto my phone. Most of the time it cannot even find my surge protector. Someone needs to fix this app instead of ignoring the problem, cause I can see the same complaints from other users. I paid more for this product so I could use the app and it would send me input of outages etc... Wow what a let down. I'm considering returning and getting a cheaper product that does the same. No need to worry about their apps since this doesn't work either.

Somewhat limited in that it only provides real time stats and no history (though there is a resettable usage meter) but it's still better than nothing, which is what you get on competitor's units. It REALLY needs a menu option to close the program though. It continues to run in the background unless you force it to close in Android settings. No excuse for that oversight!

I downloaded the app and installed the device. Worked great for four days. Then the app couldn't find the device. Said scan failed. Tried everything including deleting and finding the device again, Bluetooth on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, power cycled the surge guard. Nothing worked. After much frustration, I decided to restart my phone. Bingo! So don't blame the app or the device until you try restarting your phone.

No longer works. Have had the app and the EPO for almost two years and it has worked very well. Looks like an update was pushed through yesterday and now the app doesn't work. Says "App not installed," when I try to open. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled, also restarted everything. No dice. Hoping it's just an oops on the developers part and will get fixed very soon and I'll change my rating to 5 stars.

Half the time, the app can't find my device. How frustrating. The app is also so simple - too simple. It has so much potential for notifications, graphs, saving data, etc. It's too easy to accidentally hit the rest button and your data is just gone, no way to see how much energy you've used. Pretty disappointed in the app for such a highly recommend product across the board.
