Updated review: downgrade to 1 star. the app is slow to load. No improvement since original review from January. This alone makes Jellyfish not a great company when this is THE way to adjust settings. Unforgivable. Original: It has a ton of options and is quite user friendly but SLOW. Aggravating, painstakingly slow. Glad I don't need to use it daily otherwise I'd be questioning the purchase of the lights.

Excellent investment to enhance the nighttime beauty and curb appeal of your home. Literally 100s of preset options for seasonal lighting themes, including holidays and favorite sports team colors. There are animations you can program into your desired lighting effects. The system is controlled by an app that can be used with either android or iPhone devices. You can also create your own custom lighting accents and colors. The install team is professional, courteous, and efficient.

This software is super buggy. And recently it wiped out all of my saved settings... had to start over. 😠 Now it's got the wrong date or something. It's displaying Halloween lights several days after they are scheduled to top showing. At least I don't have to be connected to the same WiFi to change settings like the last version of this software. That's the only reason I didn't give 1/5 stars.

Edit: After writing the review, a team member did reach out, and they were able to fix the issue by putting the app on my old ipad. I was never able to get it to work on my android phone. I'm changing it from the original 1 to a 3 only for that reason. But I hope they get with engineering and do some serious UAT on their product to make sure it works on all phone operating systems. Their apps never work right. It's so frustrating to have to spend hours trying to get the device to connect.

the download options that were premade by Jellyfish is gone in the app. frustrating. I liked when they would made new patterns and allow to download to our system

UPDATE: Had another tech come out. Problem for me was the controller doesn't do well with a mesh network. We connected it to the modem/router that brings the Internet into my house, instead of my mesh network. Have had 0 issues since that. 🙌 Updating to 4 stars, from 1. ORIGINAL: Stay away from JellyFish. This is so horrible. You can't connect to the controller. Seriously....this is trash. Hopefully this helps someone else. I didn't think to read reviews.

Like everyone else paid thousands of dollars for the lights, and since the change to the cloud app, I can no longer access my account. It says my account doesn't exist, and the forget password is a joke as the reset email never comes. This isn't for my bank it a light controller. I shouldn't need a verification code. So I have a light system I can't do anything with. Go with a different company, don't make my mistake.

As with everyone else. This is supposed to allow you to control from anywhere. But the app won't connect or loses connection to the controller. Have spent a lot of time reconnecting. But have to use old app because new one won't allow me to control or manage controller. I am not sure what was done if anything but I seem to now have better connections and can open the app more regularly. Not sure if it was an update or what but It is better now.
