The Lumin D2 is a fantastic sounding audiophile streamer, let down by the App which is universally disliked - for good reason. It's clunky, unattractive and difficult to use. Works better on an iPad or Samsung Pad and less so on a smartphone where some of the App functions are missing?

The Lumin app works well with my iPad but is very flaky with my Samsung s21. Most of the time the device doesn't appear in the app, even though both iPad and the phone are on the same network. Sent several emails to support and they haven't fixed this issue so far. Very frustrating. Please fix the issue with Android devices Edited Jun 27th. The new release is great. It addresses all my concerns in the previous version. Thanks for fixing all the issues.

Intuitive and stable app which I use with a U1 Mini and Pixel 7. Based on my own experience using the app for several months now, I'm surprised by the number of bad reviews. I previously used a Bluesound device and was expecting to miss the admittedly smooth interface, but it's really not the case.

I have been extremely happy with my LUMIN D1 since 2017. I use the android version of the app. After upgrading to 2.04 all images in my USB music library cannot be displayed, making it very difficult to search my favorites. My obsolete phone has versión 1.10 dated 2017-09-21 still can operate my LUMIN D1 and display the images. Is it a bug in version 2.04? Or a bug in my current 6 month old android phone which has worked perfectly before?

Very unstable app. It keeps crashing and does not properly connect to streaming services, i.e. Tidal and Qobuz. For Tidal it only shows folder My Music and does not show other folders. For Qobuz, it just crashes. It used to work OK up until December, but now it is nothing but trouble!

Functional as there are no craches or whatsoever, it is very reposnible and reliable. However, the app interface is so bad for the user at so many levels that I never use it. Honestly, looks like an app from 2009. The Lumin are good devices and very popular in the hifi world, why is it not possible to modernize the app like the ones from BlueSound or Auralic. So 5 stars for stability and everything related, 1 star for the graphic interface. Average of 3 stars

This may one of the worst apps i have ever used. I bought the Lumin T2 ($4500) and i barely listen to it because this app is sooo bad. It freezes, closes, is unintuitive and unattractive. I try to use it with Qobuz mostly so i getvthe best audio quality. I wish it would allow the Qobuz app to be used as the interface instead of having to use this app, which it does with spotify, but spotify has lower audio quality. I think there needs to be a entire overhaul of this app! So disappointed!
