This app works great the Omni plug is plugged into my refrigerator from the 90's & I've saved quite a bit of energy. It works great with my Alexa for turning on my security camera and lights when not at home as well as locking my doors with my smart locks

Not much to this app, but given it's just a connective app for a specific smart plug, not a lot is needed. For a while, however, some firmware issues persisted between the app and the smart plug that would result in the smart plug turning off unprompted and unconnected to timed events. We would come home and discover that the fridge was off for no apparent reason (The smart plug was used with the fridge). The issue hasn't cropped up in the last few months but keep an eye on your own unit.

The app is unusable nothing works. Plug is showing offline even though I went through of connecting it and can turn it on of from phone but it still shows offline. The constantly crashes from the simplest of actions like switching the order of rooms in my home management section. The website is no help; no useable information about the device I just setup. Terrible experience thus far. The only saving grace, the plug was free.

Installation had been easy for me, feels like I got lucky here compared to other users. This app, however, is so extremely basic that it doesn't do me much good. The metrics do not tell me my overall electricity consumption across all my Ohm plugs. You have to click individually to reach plug device to get details, and even then, the bar graphs are not of proper scale and doesn't help you understand your usage trend. In app support is non-existent, as my ticket from February is still pending.

take a long time to find device, I try to connect it to the 2.4ghz channel, just keep blinking and nothing. finally I tried the combined network (erro), finally able to connect. I like bn link smart plug better as it shows me data from 2021 and this one only show last 12 months, apps is not as user friendly as bn. I have both since July 2021

I can't get the plug to be connect to my network even when it's within 2 feet of the router. My router does have 2.4g enabled and I have several other devices connected at that speed. I've never had any problems connecting TP Link. I guess I should have stuck with them. Now I'm stuck with a useless device.

Newest update removed a lot of functionality, including activity log and multiple-household management. This genuinely hurts to see, especially since the new interface looks good. Also, for the clear accessibility reasons, the app should provide a system compatible dark mode preference, to allow for control in lowlight and nighttime conditions.

App works when it comes to connecting to the plugs. But it doesn't connect to Google home even though there are outdated instructions in the app on how to do that. This makes this product pretty much useless for me. I am not going to open this app to turn on/off stuff. They really need to add this functionality otherwise I am not buying these plugs again. [2022 update] looks like the latest app added support for Google home. Bumping the rating to 5 stars since that was my only concern.
