The app is very slow to connect to the cameras. I'm guessing it's the app but to be honest I can't be 100% sure. When I get a notification I'd like to be able to click it & see the activity immediately. More times than not it just "updates" continuously. 11/2024 Since the update a few weeks ago,notifications won't actually snooze. No response from customer service after reporting the issue. The above issues from 2021 are STILL an issue.

This Really deserves a zero. Its junk. 1) Almost every time I am away from home at least one false alert is generated. 2) Given the absurd number of false alarms, I tell monitoring to never send PD. That hasn't stopped them on multiple occasions to dispatch anyway. 3) I have been able to confirm a post it note will trip the motion sensors when a fan gently moves it. 4) Its an incredibly dumb system for being a "simple system". In home mode, it still lets you set away. Instant alarm/dispat

I expect more. It doesn't allow me to turn it off from my app most times. I keep getting the "checking your sensors" instead. Also, my camera keeps cutting out telling me there's no connection. It plays for maybe a minute or two and then cuts out and I've got to reload it again.

Simplisafe seems really great at the onset. But after using the system consistently for many months it's cracks begin to show. The cameras constantly drop connection, they almost never work in live view. The worst part is that on top of it all you do not get logged recordings. Only motion events are saved and the sensitivity to motion is completely uncalibrated. The tinea I have actually needed it, it failed me. Look for a different system with better features for the price.

Easy to install and use. Definitely better than our previously dated ADT system. However, it is disappointing that the cameras require an electrical plug and that you cannot erase camera recordings. I also don't understand why the camera continues to record for 30 seconds after the system is disarmed with a legitimate code. Also, the cameras frequently go offline with no way to remotely reboot them.

This works alright but it really needs to fix some of the logistical issues. 1. I can have notifications as the main account owner but we cannot have notifications on any other device, so my husband can't get it on his phone. 2. The videos are ALWAYS laggy at letting me watch them. Good luck seeing an intruder or any motion in real time. It refuses to let you see video while it is recording so any motion you must wait to see what happened. Neither are okay for a security app.

After using a simplisafe camera for about 5 years, I'm thoroughly convinced that many of these reviews are 100% fake. Absolutely nothing positive has changed in regards to using the camera. It has NEVER worked correctly. The signal constantly drops. No recordings when they matter, but yet they raised the price of their garbage service. I KNOW im not nearly the only one with issues. Even every time they do an app update, it is worse than the last one. Absolute garbage.

Simple to install. Great resolution on the wireless cameras and can be placed anywhere in the house. The siren is very loud and you can even add additional siren for added security. Wireless makes it convenient and is what I was looking for in a home security alarm. Great buy and not overly expensive.
