A good app. Some issues I have with it: 1) Even though I've set all my settings to show notifications and all my motion sensors to high & 100%, I still don't get notifications for the motion or doorbell rings. Not sure why and not sure how to fix it. 2) When speaking to someone through the app, their voice comes through the phone's head piece instead of speakers. I have an android and not sure why this happening. Other than that, it's a good app and a good device that I've had for many years.

All of a sudden a week ago my account was deleted and had to create a new account/reinstallthis Skybell app and now it cannot find my Skybell?! This is the second issue in 5 years I've had with this doorbell and while the previous issue, about a year or so ago was resolved, this seems to be totally done now, although my doorbell is functioning and rings at movement and works, this app can't even locate it and no, it is not an issue with my WiFi - all my other "smart home" devices work via app.

since the last update it has got a tiny bit better but it has no idea what a face or human body is. notifications for trees moving or vehicles driving by. definitely recommend a different platform - especially for the cost.

Such a lag when getting notifications. Doesn't pick up the sound very well. And images are delayed and cant view when opening after the person already walked away. Definitely switching soon. Dont recommend this one at all.

Never seems to record video. No matter what, except for very rare cases, it says it recorded a video when someone presses the button, but then the video is "unavailable due to processing; check back later" and that just never resolves and eventually it disappears from the list. I can see the picture from the moment they pressed it, but not the video.

Way better than the old app, but sometimes inconsistent. I often get notifications with a preview image of the recording but when I open the app it will show the image with 4 dots blinking and if I click on it, it says video unavailable and it stays that way for days until the recording drops off due to age. So it's like it loses the video in the cloud, which kind of defeats the purpose. I would say it happens for maybe 1 out of every 7 recordings of so. It's a significant problem.

After being forced to the new app, my Skybell worked for a day or two. After that, it was blinking red and green for a couple of weeks without ever being able to reconnect. Now, the LED is the color I picked from the old app and no longer blinking. However, no matter how many times I reset it, it no longer sees ANY network connection, and I am no longer able to use this product as intended.

The notifications do not work on this app, I have tried everything! They worked for me for the first day and nothing since! The whole point of a camera doorbell is to see who is at the door. Also the motion detection is very poor, it will pick up a cat but won't pick up humans or cars leaving / entering the drive way which doesn't make sense. I have the motion detection set to the most sensitive and still nothing!
