Installed, opened, read "you don't have an IR blaster". Clicked on the button for more details & it gave a few about the device/manufacturer. Clicked uninstall. Altogether, it literally took less than 60 sec to get an answer & be done, and that includes the time it took for the app to download on super slow wifi. I personally wasn't served any ads like other reviewers said but couldn't be more than 2 mins total with one. Does what it says, easy, fast, free, & no permissions needed. A+ from me

Live and learn. Downloading this app and testing my phone for IR literally took less than 10 seconds. I later confirmed with phone manufacturer that this was correct. I came across this app during a very motivated search for a tv remote control. Easily an hour "this time". This was one of several attempts to find an app that worked. I guess I'm pretty stubborn lol. I know Walmart sells univer. remotes. I don't ask for directions either. My son's 10 y/o phone works? Come'on man!

I don't get what everyone's problem is.. I downloaded this app and it did EXACTLY what it said it does. It's an "IR Blaster Test" for the phone it's downloaded on, Period! As soon as I opened this app it told me my phone had the IR Blaster, and if you click on the "More Info" tab it opened another screen telling me everything about my phone. The brand, model, specs, etc. What else are your expecting it to do? Lol I'm quite happy! Have told others about it and it worked on theirs too! 🤪

Is it testing or is it reporting mfg specs? I connected known good IR blaster to my device USB-C port. This app reported "YOU DON'T HAVE AN IR BLASTER." I thought, OK, blaster not detected. Pressed the button "CLICK TO SEE MORE INFO" and was shown mfg, brand, hardware (qcom), and board model. Nothing detailed, not like a hardware analysis or detected components. I'm left thinking this app just checks to see if the device was manufactured to have IR Blaster capability and reports on that.

A "straight to the point" app !! Took 10 seconds to tell me what I needed to know. Didn't care for the answer it gave me, but nonetheless, it didn't make me jump through hoops and watch ads etc to find out if my phone has an IR Blaster. KUDOS TO THE DEVELOPERS FOR DOING JUST WHAT YOU SAY !

As soon as I opened the app for the first time, a page pops up saying in red print that I do not have IR on my phone. That only took seconds but every time I would click on the button requesting more info or help, a 30 second long advertisement would pop up than the entire app would crash.

I'll get straight to the point: this app is inaccurate, crashes a lot, & is riddled with ads. I tested this on my android (ik it has an ir blaster already as most androids do) & it told me it didnt have one. Thats false as I use it regularly with my tv. And upon trying to "learn more" about why it says this, the app crashes. If it doesnt crash, you'll get smacked with 30 sec ads everytime you retry testing. It did give results as soon as I opened the app, albeit wrong, but its still a trash app

This Apps ok to test if one's got an IR Blaster in there smartphone but that's all it will do, I Google Searched about IR built in one's smartphone they stopped putting it in many models including my Samsung Galaxy way back in 2018. So no remote control will work via an App on my phone! Best thing to do is search for your model number and buy a new proper remote control, I did it works just fine exact same TV model + Surround sound theater system remote.
