Snakes and Ladders ist ein altes indisches Brettspiel, das heute als weltweiter Klassiker gilt. Es wird zwischen zwei oder mehr Spielern auf einem Spielbrett mit nummerierten, gerasterten Quadraten gespielt. Auf dem Brett sind eine Reihe von "Leitern" und "Schlangen" abgebildet, die jeweils zwei bestimmte Brettquadrate verbinden. Das Ziel des Spiels ist es, die eigene Spielfigur gemäß den Würfelwürfen vom Start (unteres Quadrat) bis zum Ziel (oberes Quadrat) zu navigieren, unterstützt oder behindert durch Leitern bzw. Schlangen.

Das Spiel ist ein einfacher Rennwettbewerb, der auf purem Glück basiert und beliebt ist. Die historische Version hatte ihre Wurzeln im Moralunterricht, wo der Aufstieg eines Spielers auf dem Brett eine Lebensreise darstellte, die durch Tugenden (Leitern) und Laster (Schlangen) kompliziert war. This is actually a really good version, needs a 6 to start, up to 4 players , a choice of boards. The only thing I wished it had was an option for a one time purchase to remove the adverts.

Dice is not random .. felt like pre arranged moves . Means , game decides when should u win. If u reach top level so fast , its obvious that ur next throw will be a disaster so that the game can continue . Soon after u swallowed by a snake , next throw will surely help u climb a ladder . The ultimate goal is to make game to ho on so that ads can show..
