This should be open sourced and this incarnation abandoned. Unskippable animation, bizarre non standard and inaccessible UI choices. I also want to blame them for not communicating the incompatible nature of ATSC3 that is somewhat out of their control which looks great on other devices but can't play audio but will not play at all on the standard latest flagship Google phone. Let go, this is a failed software project.

I love this app! The DVR is the best entertainment purchase I've made in decades. The hardware is cheap, the set up is easy, and the available free content is off the charts. I spend a few minutes each week scheduling recordings and have a fully stocked library of my choices at all times. And I can watch the commercials or not. Highly recommended.

Good - The device is solid & has reasonably capable tuners. - The various apps when paired with device are a good work around for the majority of HDTV's that don't have 4K capability for local channels. Bad - The app is buggy at best with problems jumping channels instead of a smooth progression & opening/closing the guide isn't consistent. - The UI isn't at all straight forward. UGLY - Using the device with its Roku app is nearly impossible due to error messages unless signal levels are solid.

I have had these app for a while and never really had any issues. However, for more than a week now it has stopped working on all my devices. Android, Roku, and Fire stick. Forums and online chats stated that it was a bad update. Took several days to come out with another update but it only worked for a day...now back to not working at all on all devices. Not happy at all! Just go back to what was working already.

Sorry, Silicon Dust! I realized just now that I changed my review when viewing DRM-protected channels began working on my device, but I inadvertently neglected to update my star rating. All is fixed, and I apologize for not correcting this sooner. Viewing DRM-protected channels was touted as a new feature in this release. It didn't work initially after I installed it, but out of the blue it asked for permission to obtain my location information and it began working once I granted it! I have been waiting for this feature for well over a year, like so many others, and I am thrilled to see it finally arrive. Let's hope nothing breaks it ;)

LATEST VERSION IS VERY BROKEN! Over half the channels display either a "Unable to play channel: No Video Data (not connected)" message or you get a black screen that says "Audio only". Doesn't matter if you've got a perfect signal quality & strength either (mine are 100%), it just plain doesn't work for these channels. I also tried various different options, tv resolutions, etc - even uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

Live channels app is solid. Homerun app is less than spectaular .Every release seems to be a beta, all betas seem to have their own problems, after 40 years in software and national support, and checking out alphas, What works , works. do not care about dvr but rather a good tv tuner. Tuner is exceptional however with solid software could be a lot better.

Really, it gets worse and worse with each update - are you taking tips from the geniuses over at Plex?! First of all, every time the app is started (Galaxy S21 Ultra) the pic is 4:3 stretched, meaning you have to switch channels to make widescreen 16:9 "take". Now the channel list seems to take forever to load itself up, as if from floppy disk or something - don't try to scroll you channel list up too fast, no no, or you'll find it all blank and playing catch up. And, the EXIT button!?! Yes, devs, I AM SURE that I want to quit - that's why I hit the back button a few times in quick succession. And the age old problem (of their own making) of everything upmixing to 5.1 channels meaning on Android TV anything in stereo doesn't have the dialogue coming out the center speaker in my AV system, only left and right channels becuase I cannot chose my own method of to PROPERLY upmix stereo sound. Er, durr.
