Puzzles de palabras en código para mantenerte ocupado durante el descanso para tomar café.
Esta versión completa tiene más de 1000 puzzles completos.

Codewords son crucigramas con un toque diferente: no hay pistas.

En cambio, cada letra de la A a la Z está representada por un número aleatorio del 1 al 26, con el mismo número representando la misma letra en todo el rompecabezas.

Todo lo que tienes que hacer es decidir qué letra está representada por qué número.

Por ejemplo, todos los 1 pueden ser T, todos los 2 son E, etc. Te dan algunas letras para ayudarte a comenzar. Todas las letras de la A a la Z están presentes en los primeros puzzles, con un número para cada letra (los puzzles posteriores no necesariamente tienen las 26 letras en la cuadrícula).

La cuadrícula de palabras en código se muestra en su totalidad. Si estás realmente atascado, puedes revelar una letra. ¡Una excelente manera de pasar el rato!

Niveles de dificultad:

- Los puzzles fáciles tienen palabras de uso común, y las palabras se repiten regularmente a lo largo del paquete. Las letras "dadas" o iniciales también se seleccionan cuidadosamente para que la primera o las dos primeras palabras sean más fáciles de resolver.

- Los puzzles medianos generalmente tienen menos palabras repetidas en todo el paquete, y algunos puzzles no tienen representadas las 26 letras, por lo que, por ejemplo, Q, X y Z a menudo se tachan porque no aparecen en ese puzzle. (Excluir esas letras poco comunes nos permite usar una mayor variedad de palabras y, por lo tanto, menos repeticiones de palabras en todo el paquete).

- Los puzzles más difíciles tienen palabras, nombres, abreviaturas, iniciales, palabras múltiples, plurales, ortografías estadounidenses y británicas menos comunes y, a menudo, menos letras iniciales. De hecho, todos los trucos del libro para hacerlos un poco más desafiantes.

Fun and challenging game. Some things to keep in mind though: 1) It uses both American and British spellings (liter, litre) 2) It uses proper nouns, names and places 3) It uses contractions (you've, can't) Keeping that in mind, it's challenging, fun, and a good way to pass some free time. One question for the developers: If I click on Check Grid before I enter anything (on a new puzzle) it says I have none right, and "Not a Sausage". Huh?

Fluidic Ice

Overall it's a good game but there's a lot of room for improvement such as updates to the icons, images and general feel of the game and turning it into a TRUE offline game. At the moment it checks for a licence when opening it the first time. An option to export your progress to a local file would also be helpful as well as swapping the unstarted puzzle red "X" for perhaps a gray dash since it looks like the puzzle has errors in it at first glance.

Solitaire Burton

A great computer version of codewords. Easier to play than with pen and ink, but as fun and great brain training. I have a few teazel puzzles and generally like the way they play: you can check how you are going. Without paying for it. They seem to specialise in word games and do them well. It's a really good way to play codewords.

I have just started playing this game, and started on the medium level. I haven't tried the hard yet; I am saving it to enjoy more, as I find the medium way too easy. If I hadn't purchased the game I would have just started out on the hard level, but I don't want to go through the games too quickly. I will review again, once I start playing the hard level. 🙂

Great game! This is the 2nd time I've bought it. The first purchase was spread around all my other devices, 4 phones & 2 Fires, over the years. I've played through the whole thing a number of times, too. I like it so much I had no problem buying it again. They're a good team, I e-mailed them questioning the spelling of a word and they got back to me! Turns out it was a British spelling of the word. GREAT GAME

Great little game. Just needs a next game button, to save navigating back to list of puzzles and maybe have the completed games show at bottom of list so you don't need to keep scrolling to find next puzzle. An optional extra might be a link to a dictionary as some words are quite obscure.

Although I really enjoy this game. It could be improved by not having to go back every time you win. Need a next game "button". The most irritating thing of all is the fact that every time you go on to play a new game, you have to choose the pack, click on it, then scroll down to the next game. Surely it would be easy to remember where I was last and open up onto the next game. Also a timer would be fab 🤞🏻

Update: The developer has contacted me and is going to do another update to choose blue, red or green crosses. I'm so impressed - thank you so much! Original review: My 93 yr-old dad loved this game until the recent update. The change to blue crosses on the keyboard, has made it difficult for him to see the letters under the crosses. He has memory problems so likes to see all the letters. Please can you change the crosses back to the original red colour or an option to choose? Thanks!
