در یک واقعیت جایگزین در اروپای دهه 1920، چندین سال از "جنگ بزرگ" می گذرد، اما خاکستر درگیری هنوز داغ است و جنگ وارد مرحله جدیدی می شود. اولین درگیری شاهد ظهور موتورهای جنگی باورنکردنی بود که به نام Mechs شناخته می شدند. این هیولاهای تکنولوژیک که توسط «کارخانه»، یک دولت-شهر مستقل که از آن زمان به هدف همه تبدیل شده است، در مناظر برفی اروپا پرسه می زنند. قهرمان یکی از پنج جناح - امپراتوری ساکسونی، خانات کریمه، اتحادیه روسی، جمهوری پولانیا یا پادشاهی نوردیک - باشید و در این دوران تاریک به ثروتمندترین و قدرتمندترین کشور در سراسر اروپا تبدیل شوید! برای اطمینان از پیروزی مردم خود، باید مناطق جدید را کشف و تسخیر کنید، نیروهای جدید استخدام کنید و نیروهای خود را با ساختن ماشین های جنگی مهیب و وحشتناک مستقر کنید. تاریخچه را در یک گذشته تخیلی پر از موتورهای مکانیکی و فناوری پخش کنید، جایی که هر انتخابی که می‌کنید حیاتی خواهد بود. نبردهای خود را با دقت انتخاب کنید، زیرا در Scythe پیروزی با و برای مردم به دست می آید!

گیم پلی:
• عدم تقارن: هر بازیکن بازی را با منابع مختلف (انرژی، سکه ها، حس مبارزه شدید، محبوبیت...)، مکان شروع متفاوت و یک هدف مخفی شروع می کند. موقعیت های شروع به طور خاص برای کمک به منحصر به فرد بودن هر جناح و ماهیت نامتقارن بازی تنظیم شده اند.
• استراتژی: Scythe به بازیکنان کنترل تقریباً کاملی بر سرنوشت خود ارائه می دهد. تنها عناصر شانس جدا از کارت هدف هر بازیکن، کارت‌های Encounter هستند که بازیکنان برای تعامل با شهروندان سرزمین‌های تازه کشف شده می‌کشند. مبارزه نیز به روش انتخابی انجام می شود. هیچ شانس یا شانسی در کار نیست.
• ساختمان موتور: بازیکنان می توانند توانایی های ساخت و ساز خود را بهبود بخشند تا کارآمدتر شوند، سازه هایی بسازند که موقعیت آنها را در نقشه بهبود بخشد، نیروهای جدید را در گروه خود بکار گیرند، مکانیک ها را فعال کنند تا مخالفان را از حمله منصرف کنند و مرزهای خود را گسترش دهند تا انواع و مقادیر بیشتری از آنها را درو کنند. منابع این جنبه باعث ایجاد احساس انرژی و پیشرفت در طول کل بازی می شود. ترتیبی که بازیکنان می‌توانند اقتصاد و فناوری‌های خود را توسعه دهند، به احساس منحصر به فرد هر بازی می‌افزاید، حتی زمانی که چندین بار به عنوان یک گروه بازی می‌کنند.

I am a big fan of Scythe tabletop game and fully loved the transition of the digital edition. Spot on! I hope the expansions will come out very soon for Android. Please hurry up!!! The only deficit is that I have unlocked all game achievements (including the hidden one) on Android but the final one "Teleporting back to homebase" (Complete all achievements) does not unlock. I have also emailed you about it. Kindly have a look into this matter. Thank you!

UPDATE: Not sure what the issue was but now the game is working fine. I have updated the review to 4/5. I do enjoy playing it now, but I wish there was a "confirm move" button when moving items as I have made several critical mistakes in multiplayer learning, and once the pieces have been moved, I am unable to correct the error before ending my turn. [original post: Trying to play on Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. Have tried multiple installs, checked for most up to date version; same with my phone's operating system. Game "freezes" at load screen with load indicator just spinning in a circle. I have tried everything I can think of, but as of now it is unplayable for me 😞.]

A family favorite! This is a great translation of a massive board to a small screen. I hope there are plans to add more expansions! 3 minor UX issues: (1) ability to collapse the bottom HUD for a better view; (2) it'd be great to have an option for undo's in unranked online games; (3) generally to allow undo's on actions after confirming, but before they're fully executed (e.g. before moving your last unit or producing in your last hex). Otherwise, great game & looking forward to more updates!

I have really enjoyed this game:) the two updates i would recommend: - the ability to see how many times each quadrant can be upgraded. - the ability to hit undo within your turn while playing multiplayer online. Sometimes you touch the wrong player when you want to move and you're stuck. Other than that I have had a blast with the game.

I've never played the board game but I'm very much enjoying this digital version. Runs smoothly. Nice interface and animations. Matches against AI (my main form of play) go by quickly, so great for relatively short play sessions. The true star of the game, for me, is the music. Very well done. I firmly recommended this game, especially for euro board game fans.

I'm enjoying this quite a bit but I must agree with other reviews that the ability to undo an action on your turn (at the very least, in private or unranked games) would be incredibly helpful. The only other thing I have an issue with is the press-to-click to see other player's mats is glitchy, at best. This would easily be a 5 star review were it not for those issues.

I love this app. I've recently bought the board game with the intention of mainly playing solo. I was on the fence about getting the digital version in case it made me not want to play the physical, but that hasn't been the case. The digital game helps with letting the rules sink in, and for a beginner like me it's ideal as it's very fun to play, while still wetting your appetite to play the board game.

Great game, but around 3 or so months ago on Android, the game stopped sending notifications, and that really kills the game. What happened? Scythe is not even an option in the notifications settings. Also, if you look at apps, the notifications are permanently blocked, and the option is grayed out, so you can not turn it back on at all. Again, the lack of notifications kills this game.
