Does the plug-in maintain a log of the control socket / command channel? Because I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem I have with a server implementation (also on Android), related to the establishment of that secondary, passive connection _under_ FTPS (it works fine without FTPS). It happens right after the PASV command, where the LIST command fails with a timeout on both sides. The client seems to connect to that passive socket, but then establishment of a SSL tunnel by both somehow fails.

It's mostly fine. Most problems people have with this are caused by Android terminating long lasting connections or other battery saving shite. I am missing a viewable FTP log for the few occasions where the problem isn't obvious, but I've gone through various FTP clients over a decade and always came back to this.

▪️Always asks Download+Open with or Download+Edit. Should've kept "don't ask again" option there. ▪️Some files won't even complete download (encountered that prob with other apps as well though) ▪️For videos, it should've played them as link video, not from temporary folder. Because downloading the whole thing requires more time.. There were a few bugs more! & Add the note that it only connecta to ftp server, do not establish one.

After update do not work. On existing (old) ftp shortcut stuck on "getting directory" screen. On create new connection after entering a name exit and create only empty shortcut. When click properties on shortcut do nothing I try to clear data and cache and uninstall/install TC and plugin with no success. Tested on android 9, Xiaomi max3. Update! Finally I get it to work!. Problem was in apps permissions. Btw total commander is top for windows but not for android.

Downloaded Total Command for the umpteenth time, but this time added the FTP Plugin. Hw still no joy. Couldn't get it to work at all. There needs to be some simple instructions to go alongside the app, so that potential users like me can get them to work.

Awful. There are so many basic things done badly in the plugin. For example, you can't edit connections. Once you create it, you can either connect to it or delete it. The plugin also fails to read files from the server after some time and I have to reconnect to the FTP.

When I want to copy something from my pc to my phone it asks me if I want to download + open or download + edit and it saves the file in a temporary folder and deletes it right after. I can't figure out how to just copy a file and chose where to save it on my phone
