GeoQuest est une application de recherche qui combine le suivi passif de l'emplacement des répondants à l'enquête avec des entretiens actifs basés sur leurs mouvements.Bien que cette application puisse être installée par n'importe qui, les données ne sont enregistrées que si l'utilisateur est abonné à un ou plusieurs projets de recherche Ipsos.
Vous pouvez contrôler la fréquence à laquelle le suivi de localisation a lieu et vous pouvez afficher toutes les données de localisation capturées. Les données de localisation sont regroupées en trajets composés d'une ou plusieurs étapes. Une étape est un mouvement utilisant un seul mode de transport.
Les modes de transport sont estimés en fonction de la vitesse. Chaque trajet peut être revu par le répondant pour indiquer s'il peut être utilisé dans la recherche et pour modifier les modes de transport estimés.
Au fil du temps, le répondant sera informé des sondages disponibles à la suite des mouvements qu'il a effectués.

The app didn't like it when I did not go out a couple of days and kept telling me to relaunch or restart my device. This I did, but did not make any difference, so I have days with nothing recorded for those days, and the red message at the top has not disappeared. Also, the surveys stuck at day 1 saying there was a fault and I have not had any more. Waste of time.

I did not use the app for two days and now I cannot record trips( 2 today). I keep getting a message instructing me to close down my device and relaunch the app but all the information I have submitted will be lost so what is the point of the app, if it fails to function if you don't undertake a trip?

I used this app for 2 weeks as asked, with no issues, received a text to thank me for completing it and that I would receive my voucher within 10 days and now I'm being told I didn't complete it. I'm really unhappy and completely wasted my time!

Pretty easy and painless to use for 2 weeks not much involvement needed other than a 4 question survey each day . Even easier to get and redeem your £20 voucher at the end of the survey. Would do again if offered .

did not record a journey for 24 hrs as I did not have one. now it will not allow me to start one without updating the app but there is no obvious way to do it. now a bit stuck

trips not recorded correctly, or entered ones I didn't make. timings were all over the place. had to manually enter almost every trip now being told that I didn't enter enough info, and didn't meet minimum requirements, which I wasn't aware of. am not entitled to a reward, what a waste of time.

Awful app. Whoever built the functionality that requires 10 minutes between submitting the most basic surveys and whoever thought that this was acceptable should consider a change of career

The app does work, sort of. I found I needed to force close the app and restart it each morning to get tracking to work correctly. I answered the survey at the end of each day. 2 weeks plus one day later I got my reward. Would do it again.
