Unstable, crashes a lot, can't even filter searches, or access msg inbox. After new update sept 2024, there is no longer a share button.

New update is awful! Really frustrating to use when I had everything infront of me at once before, but not anymore. Only one story at a time on my screen? And where is the share button? Atleast the web version is still usable. Change it back!

Meh! I cant find flyers on app, the job classifications seem to have no way to apply (even if i hit "message" it doesnt allow me to attach resume), the company logo thumbnail on job postings have to be opened to see who is actually advertising jobs bc they are too large at first glance w/o opening thumbnail, no search available in obits (have to go to website for that as well as flyers), classified ads dont show all of message thread after some convo thru app, adopt a pet does not allow filter.

This is a fabulous news app!! The reporting is accurate, timely and pertinent. They don't waste my time with useless emotional content like larger news organizations. The coverage of local wildfires is especially excellent. I'm very well informed! Thank you Castanet!!😀👋

In the last mo th I have had to uninstall and re install the app 9 times because it wont open, just has a buffer wheel and keeps saying retrieving. My wife has the same problem.. it is not our phones, we have brand new phones.

This is the crashiest app, quite often just hangs for almost a minute when clicking on a link to news article then says "oops something went wrong" also would be nice to have the ability to pinch zoom or at least adjust font size.

Castanet was my go to when all other news crews failed to provide comprehensive and informative, timely coverage. Now that I have the app, I am even more impressed with Castanet and will NOT be seeking info from CTV or CBC anymore. Thank you for excellent coverage locally and globally. Even when I am in Palm Springs, I will be in touch with my beloved BC. I am also completely confident that I am keeping up with world news through Castanet coverage. Absolutely perfect for my needs!!
