Maybe this style works for a particular kind of kid but it is so repetitive and monotonous that my kid was turned off immediately. And if you try to skip lessons because they're too easy, your kid is going to encounter tasks that refer to stories or things they "read before" that can turn frustrating and disappointing. Try this if you're starting at 0 but not if your kid has some reading knowledge already. UPD: Yes, we did the placement test. Over 30 minutes into the test, my 5yo lost interest.

First impressions are not good. The font is very small inside the books. And there doesn't seem to be any way to increase it (tried on multiple devices). Even though no one in my family needs glasses, we ALL struggled to read the text. For an app to encourage and nurture young readers, this is a glaring error.

Its love and hate. I love the programs and how it helps my daughter in reading and maths but lately after she finish the stage, there is no next button. She is frustrated. I tried to restart, log out etc but it happen at times. My tablet is new so i think its the program. Hope you can fix it. Thank you

This app is simply incredible. My 5 year old daughter would not put it down if I didn't need my phone back! The lessons are varied and interactive enough to stop her from getting bored, and the egg reward system where you can purchase house decorations and clothing for your character (with the eggs that she has earned through reading) is a fantastic motivator. Also the amount of content in this app is insane. The developers have created something very special, well done guys 🙌🏻👏🏼

I'm on the free trail- the app itself has pretty good content as we were searching for decent phonics for our 2 yr old. This app has that. However ever it is SUPER glitch. It freezes randomly and then does it consistently to the point where my little boy keeps asking for help or just gives up because the app is frozen. Won't be paying nearly a £100 for a year for an app that doesn't actually work.

I'd definitely recommend this app. Our child is 5 years old and she didn't show any enthusiasm at all with her phonics. She really enjoys playing reading eggs and it keeps her more engaged than paperwork or books. Its 100% helped with her phonics and reading. We use it to supplement those moments when you don't have time to sit and read or work with your child. 10-15mins everyday or so really does help

This app was recommended to me by a neighbor who homeschools her kids, and I've used it for both of my kids since they turned 2. They love it and use it every day! The games are fun and educational. Also, the app rarely crashes like older reviews have said, so I think that bug was fixed.

Disappointing performance....only had this a few weeks and three times it's frozen lessons on all devices. I have to go in an manually move it on from parental controls on my mobile. It's frozen on my tablet and the child's . For a service expecting you to pay it's beyond frustrating
