A Google user
All good, worth the upgrade. Tiny issue is when show add button and show settings button are both turned off, it crashes, you gotta leave one of them on. I like it clean, but not a huge deal, still worth it. Edit: I'm an idiot, just making those 2 buttons transparent and leaving them turned on fixes everything. 5 stars!

Nice that you can edit a widget. But you aren't editing the actual widget. It uses old ones that can be customized, but none of it works for Google stuff unless you want the Google search of 2016 where it ONLY brought up the type of voice search that is supposed to be used for asking your phone to set a bedtime alarm, or send a text to someone. It really isn't functional, and appears to just be data collection. BEWARE!!!!

Overall pretty good, better than the default. Just wish I could use Duckduckgo instead of Google for the search. Otherwise, works well with the new Firefox mobile, and has built in presets to match the themes I've purchased from the same developer, primarily Rad Pack Pro, which is pretty rad to the max. Totally bitchin'.

Just what I was looking for. I wanted a Google search bar widget with a white outline, where I could control the outline width, and access the Google Assistant by tapping on the microphone. There are many other ways to control the appearance and the way it searches. It is much more customizable than the standard Google search bar.

Good customisable search bar widget, used it to get a rounded corner minimalist search bar on my home screen. However, tried semi transparent white background with left icon turned off and the widget displays an opaque circle where the left icon would have been so had to scrap using background. Also feel that the search page should be more customisable - style of search widget can't be edited on this page, and it should be possible to turn the drawer feature off. Good, but room for improvements!

Great widget. Allows you to do a Google search directly with chrome (instead of that weird default Google search that opens in it's own app for some reason). And it allows so much customization on it's appearance. You can also set the bar to search various apps like Amazon, Google maps, Spotify and so on. Awesome

CSBW is a good app for customising a search bar. The customisation options aren't the most extensive, but it does provide a good experience if you are willing to mess around a bit. I have had a few problems: 1- I have found that the search function fails to find some of my apps. 2- Trying to cancel the search (touching outside area) closes the search but doesn't close the keyboard. 3- An option to search for the first suggestion when pressing enter. 4- An option to have text in the widget.

This used to be a decent looking widget. However, on newer versions of Android where the OS rounds the corners, this widget leaves a lot to be desired, because the outline corners are now missing. I contacted the developer via email and he has no intention of fixing it. His reply was for me to upgrade to the paid version in order to fix the issue. Clearly this developer doesn't take pride in the appearance of his widget and only cares about making profit! Paid ver fixes issue, why not free ver?
