Used to like it until I discovered that if I move to another app, the keyboard goes away when I return. Makes gathering information impossible. Have to touch the screen to continue working. Often the cursor position changes. Needs to be a toggle switch to remove this design flaw. Should freeze the state of the editor including input keyboard when moving to another app, so one does not have to keep summoning it up when returning. Otherwise, well-designed.

Quick Edit text editor is a must for the Android system, many text file formats are read and can be edited, a timer for saving texts that are being edited is integrated, the most fun is working with the Bluetooth keyboard, the theme color can be changed and much more. The purchase has been worthwhile for me on other units.

There's only one better than this app and it's a lot of hassle, you can use vs code in termux, maybe. Hit & miss. Quickedit hits 10/10 forsome CSS or HTML or if you're just on the on the golang , this is where it's at & w/ dark mode and themes. Nice modern (but not material , yet...devs?) interface and it executes just about every language you can imagine. Anytime I'm on a fresh install this is app is in the top 5 must have. Every device I own. 👋💥🩵🤤 Thanks devs y'all(you?) nailed it! 💥

It would be great if I could easily save and access files in/out of termux home directory, without the need to always go through SAF. But overall, a very good app.
Continuous Variable
Initially very pleased with this app. Somewhat miffed when it became apparent that it is not available for offline use. App would not open on one device until WiFi connection established. Why oh why?

I sent email to you on January 8th and haven't gotten reply from you back. i haven't gotten a reply for you back from Google Play whenI posted a day or two ago. The question is:. When I hit snooze on an alarm, one minute later, it sounds off again. How can I fix this? Looking forward to your reply again.

I found a glitch. use the paste symbol from the toolbar and hit the save-button. now go change the content of your clipboard. then hit [undo] and then [paste] again. notice how the save button now grays out again despite being "hot" after hitting undo. your app only recognizes that the same inputs were performed (and assumes the same document state), but doesn't see that the content changed. should be an easy fix.

There needs to be a way to disable the timeout When you run a script, it will kill it after around 10 seconds. They need to add a way to disable the timeout. It would also be great to see live output, rather than only displaying output at the end of execution (if it doesn't timeout). It has many issues when used with a mouse/keyboard. The most annoying is refreshing the app and switching the tab when you disconnect/reconnect a keyboard/mouse. Best editor for Android that I have used so far
