U alternativnoj stvarnosti u Europi 1920-ih, prošlo je nekoliko godina od "Velikog rata", ali pepeo sukoba je još uvijek vruć i rat ulazi u novu fazu. Budite heroj jedne od pet frakcija – Saskog Carstva, Krimskog kanata, Rusvijetske unije, Republike Polanije ili Nordijskog kraljevstva – i postanite najbogatija i najmoćnija nacija u cijeloj Europi tijekom ovih mračnih vremena! Da biste osigurali pobjedu svog naroda, morat ćete istraživati i osvajati nove teritorije, angažovati nove regrute i rasporediti svoje snage izgradnjom strašnih i zastrašujućih borbenih Mehova. • Asimetrija: svaki igrač započinje igru s različitim resursima (energija, novčići, oštar osjećaj za borbu, popularnost...), drugačija početna lokacija i tajni cilj. Početne pozicije su posebno postavljene kako bi doprinijele jedinstvenosti svake frakcije i asimetričnoj prirodi igre.
• Strategija: Scythe nudi igračima gotovo potpunu kontrolu nad njihovom sudbinom. Jedini elementi slučajnosti, osim individualne kartice tajnog cilja svakog igrača, su karte susreta, koje igrači izvlače za interakciju s građanima novoistraženih zemalja. Borba se također vodi po izboru; nema sreće ni slučaja.
• Izgradnja motora: Igrači mogu poboljšati svoje građevinske sposobnosti kako bi postali učinkovitiji, graditi strukture koje poboljšavaju njihov položaj na karti, uvrštavati nove regrute u svoju frakciju, aktivirati mehove kako bi odvratili protivnike od invazije i proširili svoje granice kako bi prikupili veće vrste i količine resursi. I am a big fan of Scythe tabletop game and fully loved the transition of the digital edition. Spot on! I hope the expansions will come out very soon for Android. Please hurry up!!! The only deficit is that I have unlocked all game achievements (including the hidden one) on Android but the final one "Teleporting back to homebase" (Complete all achievements) does not unlock. I have also emailed you about it. Kindly have a look into this matter. Thank you!

UPDATE: Not sure what the issue was but now the game is working fine. I have updated the review to 4/5. I do enjoy playing it now, but I wish there was a "confirm move" button when moving items as I have made several critical mistakes in multiplayer learning, and once the pieces have been moved, I am unable to correct the error before ending my turn. [original post: Trying to play on Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. Have tried multiple installs, checked for most up to date version; same with my phone's operating system. Game "freezes" at load screen with load indicator just spinning in a circle. I have tried everything I can think of, but as of now it is unplayable for me 😞.]

A family favorite! This is a great translation of a massive board to a small screen. I hope there are plans to add more expansions! 3 minor UX issues: (1) ability to collapse the bottom HUD for a better view; (2) it'd be great to have an option for undo's in unranked online games; (3) generally to allow undo's on actions after confirming, but before they're fully executed (e.g. before moving your last unit or producing in your last hex). Otherwise, great game & looking forward to more updates!

I have really enjoyed this game:) the two updates i would recommend: - the ability to see how many times each quadrant can be upgraded. - the ability to hit undo within your turn while playing multiplayer online. Sometimes you touch the wrong player when you want to move and you're stuck. Other than that I have had a blast with the game.

I've never played the board game but I'm very much enjoying this digital version. Runs smoothly. Nice interface and animations. Matches against AI (my main form of play) go by quickly, so great for relatively short play sessions. The true star of the game, for me, is the music. Very well done. I firmly recommended this game, especially for euro board game fans.

I'm enjoying this quite a bit but I must agree with other reviews that the ability to undo an action on your turn (at the very least, in private or unranked games) would be incredibly helpful. The only other thing I have an issue with is the press-to-click to see other player's mats is glitchy, at best. This would easily be a 5 star review were it not for those issues.

I love this app. I've recently bought the board game with the intention of mainly playing solo. I was on the fence about getting the digital version in case it made me not want to play the physical, but that hasn't been the case. The digital game helps with letting the rules sink in, and for a beginner like me it's ideal as it's very fun to play, while still wetting your appetite to play the board game.

Great game, but around 3 or so months ago on Android, the game stopped sending notifications, and that really kills the game. What happened? Scythe is not even an option in the notifications settings. Also, if you look at apps, the notifications are permanently blocked, and the option is grayed out, so you can not turn it back on at all. Again, the lack of notifications kills this game.
