The freenet FUNK app, and the company behind, are great and I am very happy of having decided of give it a try! Even though i don't speak a word of german, it was extremely easy (with online translators and a bit of patience) to use the app for setting up a new contract, taking holidays, displaying the tarif, the amount of data used... Everything is super clear and intuitive. Also the tariffs are very cheap and they offer a large flexibility with holidays to travel included. Good signal as well

Great deal for the data. Before, it wasn't possible to hotspot my laptop using a browser that covers the ip (for streaming some foreign countries news sites) but they fixed that, which is pretty cool. Reception/speed is quite decent where i live, but not everywhere in the country. My VPN shows some tracking attempts, as most apps do. All in all, this is great for anyone not travelling around europe a lot.

Still the best deal to this date for true unlimited data. Even though the speeds aren't the greatest and inconsistent and also, of course on top it depends on were you are/live... Just check one of the "coverage maps" before getting this. (Welcome to Germany - prices, speeds and 3G / 4G / 5G coverage is still terrible in comparison with a lot of other European countries.) Which in the next few years, will hopefully greatly improve after we got rid of 3G!. Apart from that, I haven't had a single problem so far, got the SIM card within one day and the App is working as intended... Just wish it wouldn't charge you on a daily base, but instead weekly.

The only downside is that you get an invoice every day and it's just annoying to receive an email about the payment every day and its not only from Funk but also from PayPal after a while its just mess with your PayPal account payment history because there will be pages of 0.99 payment. Would be much better if they would have calculated how much you have to pay for the month and then book it once in a month from your PayPal account so that you would get a lot less annoying emails less per month!

The registration is fairly simple and quick. Speed is okayish, not stable and also not too great for heavy usage even if you paid for unlimited. What I noticed as I tried ookla speed testing from various locations I noticed each time the ping came from different internet providers. The app is fully in german and I couldn't navigate that well. Payment only through PayPal was also a hassle. After 1 week I deleted my package.

The app itself is not really that good. It looks flashy, but that is it. First, you cannot paste your password. This really sucks, because it encourages short passwords, instead of long, safe passwords. I am using keepass on a different device and transfer passwords via QR. Not being able to paste them is a big downer since they are all very long. The app also signs you out as soon as there is an issue with the connection, making above situation worse. There is no way I can remember my 20 characters long random passwords which utilize the whole ASCII charset. So, if you get signed out forcefully on the road, one can't use it anymore. Another thing is that you cannot pay via credit card without going over PayPal, which have violated multiple EU laws and regulations in the past and are known for behaving erratically. It is impossible to do business with PayPal in good faith.

Unlimited LTE data for 30€ a month and unlimited calls and sms, its the only company that offers it, for this price. The others are way more expensive than freenet FUNK and don't offer a better service. Of course there are cons, like, you can use it only in Germany, but i think in the future they will do something about this problem. Another problem is customer support, they are not so fast on resolving issues, but im not removing any star because of that. They are a new company..

I ordered six times until the line finally arrived. Unfortunately, I thought the speed would be good, but it was very bad, and there is no customer service in English, and PayPal is deducted. There was a problem with the bank’s application with Paypal, so I was late for payment for three days, so they terminated my contract, and here I am After a year, I am informed of financial claims. I do not recommend them at all.
