The new application for controlling and setting your fixed air conditioner without outdoor unit, via bluetooth, Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection, wherever you may be!

5 operating modes: air conditioning, heating, dehumidification, ventilation only, automatic.

Features:

I managed to pair using an old Samsung tablet running Android 8. Once paired, if the tablet doesn't have bluetooth turned on, it tries to use Wifi. If it isn't on the same Wifi network (SSID) as the air con unit, it uses the cloud. All good. HOWEVER, the air con has huge problems trying to pair with Samsung and Huawei phones running Android 9 and Android 10. Mostly it loses the bluetooth connection before set-up is complete. If you do manage to pair, you are still out of luck. If the phone's bluetooth is turned off, the app won't start. It doesn't move to Wifi or the cloud. This appears to be an Android permissions problem. The whole point of the WiFi card ($$$) is that you can connect when you are outside the home (e.g. I will be home in 15 minutes, start the air con now). It is complete FAILURE as it only works when you are standing next to the air con unit, when you could use the regular remote control.

A Google user

This does the basics (now I've had the wifi card installed) but it's missing basic functionality from the remote control, namely Eco mode and Night mode. If they added this in it would be a good app but as it is this means we have to use an awkward hybrid of this app and the original remote, which causes conflicts between which controller has put it into which mode!

The wifi module looses connection to the wifi, saying it can't connect to the server, which can be fixed by resetting the airco unit by removing the power plug. This happens too often. Support team replied to my support request after a week or two and hopefully the issue will resolve. If the issue gets resolved, I will rate it higher.

When device is off, the UI is barely readable (light grey text on grey background). When the device is in alarm (eg Dirty filter warning) the UI is disabled. You cannot change any settings nor power off the device. Very poor design! I hope you can do better!!!

often it's just broken. getting "Olimpia communication error" all the time. useless app.

I now get a permanent cloud communications error. As a result, only wifi on the same network as the aircon or Bluetooth from within a few metres works.

A Google user

I have a high end Olimpia Splendid a/c, but it isn't wifi enabled, so this app can't work. Give me one that will control it via my phone's IR blaster!
