Dopo aver accettato l'invito dalla persona amata e aver impostato correttamente Link, potrai accedere alle seguenti funzionalità:

Ricevi avvisi di emergenza
Link ti invierà notifiche per le azioni selezionate, incluso quando viene utilizzata la risposta urgente, consentendoti di prendere decisioni rapidamente e di dare seguito senza indugio.

Recupera posizione
Quando le autorizzazioni del localizzatore sono attive, vedrai la posizione della persona amata su una mappa e riceverai aggiornamenti se cambia posizione. Questi aggiornamenti generali vengono eseguiti ogni 20 minuti circa.
In caso di emergenza, i primi soccorritori ricevono aggiornamenti sulla posizione ogni 30 secondi.

Controlla attività
In base alle informazioni nel profilo personale, controlla se gli appuntamenti vengono mantenuti e ricevi altri rapporti sulle loro attività.

Controlla lo stato del dispositivo
Stai tranquillo sapendo che la persona amata ha sempre accesso a un professionista in caso di emergenza. Il collegamento ti consentirà di conoscere lo stato della batteria del dispositivo. Riceverai anche una notifica quando la batteria è scarica in modo da poter ricordare loro di ricaricare o sostituire la batteria e rimanere in contatto.

Personalizzazione

Oct 5. I just installed the Oct 3, 2023 update, v. 6.4.0, and the app does not work anymore. It immediately crashes and closes. I cleared the data and reinstalled. Still no good. FIX THIS! ..... Edit, Oct 6. Installed v6.4.1 dated Oct 5, everything works again. Thanks! PS, map locations are inaccurate, usually shows my loved one 100 feet down the street in a parking lot instead of at home.

For the most part, the app works fine. The issue I keep having is with the location portion. It stops working accurately for a week or longer at a time. When I click on "view on map," it will show her as being at addresses several miles away, sometimes even in the next town over, but on the main screen, it says she is at home.

Update 01/25/19 Keeps freezing upon opening, extremely slow once I get it going. The device status is isn't accurate at first, then corrects. I don't know if an update to correct some bugs created more, or what. Hope this will be fixed soon. i have uninstalled and reinstalled as well... It always errors out when I go to view, so I have to refresh everytime. I have to wait twice for location update. Other than that, it's ok.

For several months now, i have been unable to use the app to follow my mom who uses a Great Call button. After my phone was updated last night, I thought I would try again. Nope. Still does the same thing. I get a continuous pop up notification that says Great Call Link keeps stopping. I can't do anything else in my phone because this keeps popping up. I had to uninstall the app again. This is a safety issue now because i can't keep track of my mom and that is the whole idea behind Great Call!

This APP worked great on my HTC phone. Now, I have a Samsung S9+ and the APP no longer works. Spoke to customer support and they assisted as best the can to no avail. So, now what? The issue was pushed back to me to resolve. I would have thought any APP issue would have had an appropriate response so as not to leave customers in a 'MONITORING' black hole. What an inconvenience for those remote monitoring family or friends.

Greatcall needs to get new developers to work on this app. From the app to the device it's a complete joke. Extremely unreliable and it only works a small percentage of time. If you care about the person who uses it, save your money and look at a different company. The last update was done almost 6 months ago and it's been nothing but problems over the past several years. Instead of asking each customer with the same problem to send you an email, how about you fix it.

App does not work. Does not give timely updates on map location. Most times it takes several minutes to update. Also hourly update on activities no longer works. Very difficult to keep track of a loved one with dimensia who still wonders out on their own. Not at all what we were promised with this service. Also sometimes gives false locations which scares us. This app certainly did not give us peace of mind.Customer can also be a nightmare to correct app issues.

Frequent Crashes Using the old version of android (oreo), the app was acceptable. The header rarely gave correct information (at home, out and about. church etc) but the map was ok and updated randomly every 1 to 20 minutes as noted in the app. Push notifications never worked. However, with android pie the app crashes immediately upon start. Clearing caches and reinstalls do nothing.
