if the app would stop crashing i would have given 5 star, but i have had the app for about 2 years or so, maybe longer, but for the last month or so, every time I open the app within 30-45 sec. it closes and crashes. Please fix this. I have uninstalled and re-installed it several times since this started.

I've been using this weather app for years,and it's the only app I use! No more Weather Channel or AccuWeather! It's super programmable. It can be set to follow you wherever you go,and has different overlays for rain,clouds,tropical storms, lightning ,etc. It shows! past,present, and future weather in a loop,so you can see what's comming,especially during hurricane season. By far the best weather app available,and it's FREE!!! A must have if you live in a Gulf state!

Best weather app out there,and it's free. It's a must have for anyone in the New Orleans area, especially during hurricane 🌀 season. I tracked Katrina and Ida with it,and everything in-between. I use it almost everyday, especially when there is rain in the forecast. It even has an option to follow you when you travel. It shows a map of wherever you are,and follows you wherever you go. It has day by day forecasts ,and hourly forecasts. The radar loop goes a few hours in advance also.

Everything I need and accurate radar. I don't like or want ads on my weather app! Well, it's been a year, and the previous statement holds! However, I do really appreciate the updates to the app! Now, you get more accurate and in-depth radar and a 24-hour tab plus the past to present option! The only gripe I have is how long it takes to update the actual meteorologist at the station section. Sometimes, it's up to 8 or more hours since the latest on-air forecast!

Update: 12/17/2019 The latest update is working nicely with new features and nice look. Data usage significantly down from previous versions. Push notifications have saved me several times working outdoors from getting soaked. Galaxy S8 on Android Pie (9). ------------------- There have been no recent issues of no audio.

I've been using this app for a long time and really liked the easy to read temperature display on my home and lock screen. BUT, there must have been an update because now the temperature is so tiny it's hard to see without putting on my reading glasses or opening up the app. Please bring back the old display.

My favorite weather app! Radar is always very accurate! I trust this app for my safety! On 3/15/25 the Tornado Warning went off, I immediately went to look out my door. I saw it coming directly towards my home, I grabbed my dog and barely made it to the bathroom as it began destroying my yard and damaing my house. I will forever be grateful for Fox 8 News & App! They gave me just enough time to get to my safe place! I urge you to pay attention to those alerts! They can truly save your life ❤️
