Google still forces its device owners to jump thru hoops to achieve basic screen mirroring, and I'm happy to report that, contrary to 2 years ago, I was successful in getting this app to work as advertised and was encouraged by the absence of any appreciable lag between phone and mirrored image. My only criticism is that there is no mention of the ancillary "Receiver Channel Broadcast for Roku" app that has to be loaded during setup, nor a clear description of how to navigate that process.

I'm an engineer and have been trying to Mirror & Cast to my Samsung TV or Roku for some time. I had found nothing that works intuitively and reliably. This suite of Cast/Mirror apps for Roku does just that. There are free versions of the apps to try it out, but they are crippled by ads. You have to buy each app separately, but the price is reasonable and it's a one time buy. That's an approach that I support. Highly recommended!

It works, it took 3 hours to find the fix that no one talks about. Make sure you turn off all VPNs your phone may be on or it won't work. The quality is pay-locked and you'll only get a "mid-tier" quality screen share, there are good and superior quality above that, it shared very low end color and washed out photos on the screen. Video plays at 5-9 frames per second, and I couldn't get audio to play through the TV. I was very disappointed in the app

Do not install this app if you have a samsung galaxy 9 or older. After you open, It will literally put up a non movable message that says upgrade to pro that completely blocks being able to click the "OK" button after entering your phones pass code essentially preventing you from using your phone once it goes to screen off until you hard reset it.

I got the pro.. thinking ok sound for life.. not the case.. it has volume sometimes rarely. The video now plays supper choppy and like it's in slow mode. Absolute rip off. The free version is better even without the sound.. because I still have to use my phone for volume.. and after seeing the other reviews.. they know this and don't really care. Sad.. so sad glad it was just 5 . Still feel ripped off tho. Even hight quality looks like retro movies not HD. Why lie??

To start off, I was going to share my screen to show something to my sister. I was stuck on the same screen for a while. Then, I had closed out of the app and cleared my tabs, then it froze again. It is currently frozen as I am writing this review. This is a very low quality and glitchy app. Do not recommend. One star.

Not worth it. No sound, poor picture quality. Paid for the upgrade. Tried it with no issues. A couple of weeks later tried to use it and a large portion of the meeting was blacked out by an ad to upgrade. Complained to the company and was treated like I was trying to cheat them. The list of requirements to "possibly" get my money back would take far more time than the money I paid.

The free version works well but while you are watching every minute or so it throws an ad to upgrade to pro. Then while you are not even in the app it constantly puts a message up telling you to upgrade. I did upgrade to pro but the lag is so bad I went back to the free one. Its a great idea but poorly executed. I uninstalled and will look for a better option.
