I've played on many different pad apps. The variety and high quality of the samples is unmatched. But then on other apps I regularly enjoy that have comparable sound quality, there will be some other slight issue that I haven't found with Padmaster. Such as sloppy sample transitions or general lag when toggling pad buttons or simply bogging down the app with too much going on. And really I'm not including the bonus of unique features like preset sound groups, buildup muting, and the best FX UI .

This is a REALLY great app for making music that even the most amateur person can use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is there's no option to import your own vocals, instruments, etc.... Even though there's literally thousands of ways to make truly original music with the sounds we have, it will still sound similar to everyone else's music. My other complaint is you can't put this on an external memory card but that's really just a minor issue/ pet peeve.

Only a few suggestions, a free country pack, a free rock pack, and a free hip-hop and country pack mix. Otherwise this is one of the best beat apps yet. A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAN LOOPAD. The app skips sometimes when makin a beat, but the sound quality is better than Groovy Loops, but I don't like the fact that after u record, it doesn't ask u if u want to save or discard your recordin. I think the ads are a little too much too, but this is still one best apps for beats. Voice recorder will be nice

Media Monster

Not ready for prime time! This could eventually be a great app. Just not yet. It hardly has any sound packs! And the ones they do have are very weak and some poorly mixed too. The worse thing about their sound packs is the selections in the packs are too much alike severely limiting your ability to create interesting melodies, instead you get junk. You can skip this one, hopefully they will be improving this. It does have a nice interface. At this time just about any other app will be better!

I have been using these types of apps since they started coming out and I can say this is the most unique one, you can create groups and have a whole layout to play in the order you choose, so you can focus on effects. They have fill/predrop/buildup pads it's crazy really. They took your simple loop beat maker and took it to the next level. I have tried every other app from drumpad24 to caustic back in the day, Dpm-drum pad machine, groovepad.none of them will compare to what you have here.

My opinion has changed since using the app for a couple of days. I prefer music apps where you're not restricted by others creativity. However, my preference is no reason to mark a app low & I can see it's appeal to those who are looking to have instant fun. The sounds here are crisp, the interface is beautiful & user friendly. There are some problems though. Audio cuts out from time to time... I've edited my score downt 3. The audio keeps breaking up rendering the app practically useless 3⭐

Definitely one of the best apps I have ever used for making music. I like the neat touches like the build ups, the breaks, the pre-drops and launches. They kind of add a new dimension to the tracks. I understand it is still relatively new to the scene and can't wait for more soundpacks to arrive. Mixed a rave track and felt like I was listening to something you hear at Ibiza raves. Given time this can be a great app.

I'll admit, it is great for making awesome beats. Like you can make some sick, dac-worthy awesome beats with this app. but I find there is one thing that annoys me. the free version is seriously limited. 23 free packs and any new packs add are going to always be paid ones. If you can add more to the free version. That'd be great, otherwise, still good at making beats.
