Huge waste of time. The opening screen freezes for about 30 seconds. Then when you get to the story you want, you got to watch an ad. If you try to skip the ad and go to something else, you have to watch the same ad all over again. I also turned off their notifications because most were useless to me. For instance, they sent me a weather alert for winter storm warnings tomorrow. You click on that link, and they show you a weather forecast from 9 hours ago. Nobody's got time for that.

While the app is mostly on a par with other TV news apps, it is often in serious need for news that's actually NEW. I don't want to read day-old headlines or get scores from last week's games. Too often, it's what I get here. So I just check this source every other day or so. 06/27/23 Doing better at this time. 3 "Attaboys"!

The upgrade is pretty... but doesn't work as well as the old one. double and triple notifications and the first one or two are links that don't work or the notification headlines are nowhere to be found on the app. also, they took away access to the allergy forecast which was a favorite considering the Austin allergies. I looked everywhere but it's gone. have used the kvue app for years and will give it a couple of weeks to work out the bugs, but will dump it if it doesn't get better.

Kudos on the new design upgraded style elements, but layout and bugs are now a major issue. I find it hard to find the actual news that come up as notifications and the notifications are in html format themselves, so practically useless. You need to have a "breaking news" section again and a better weather section.

Usability is horrible. Unable to rotate screen for full view. Ads play everytime you start a video whether the video is live or not. Missed information from live videos and "Breaking News" due to those ads. 15 or 30 seconds is too much time to miss in a live video. When watching a prerecorded video, there is no progression to the next video. It will only replay the video/section just watched. Live broadcasting is not available on the home screen. You have to toggle to "Watch" tab.

Have to say, I am not a fan of the "new, improved" KVUE app. They took a user friendly intuitive interface and turned it into a flashy, unwieldy, and difficult to use app. Do not like, will no longer use. 09-25-2013 Now the Allergy report no longer works , no longer has a graph showing what pollen is high, low, med, etc, and just... will you guys FIX THIS, PLEASE?????

I have had this app for many years, and this is perhaps the worst update ever. Too many bugs! 1. Updated app-keeps telling me to update. Uninstalled app, reinstalled app, but i still have an old app, apparently. 2. Too busy, loads slow or incompletely-only seems to work best only on high speed wifi. 3. Too many notifications, most of which are telling me (when i can translate the code) that i have an old version of the app. Cant turn them off, either, because they're already turned off (???).

Can't locate stories on the app, too many ads This app is not user friendly. I liked the old version that let me easily locate my local news stories. My app still shows something about what road to avoid in during ACL in 2019. Its January 2020! It's useless and inconvenient. I prefer to watch kvue news on TV, and unfortunately, I have to download another station's app to get it on my phone.
