EDIT: now downgraded to one lonely star 1. EVgo's newest sites don't appear in the app, for many users not just me. So I can't use app to start and monitor. 2. NFC start doesn't work. 3. New promotional notifications from app can't be turned off, would have to turn off ALL notifications. 4. Map is very slow to load. Don't reply here telling me to call in and report, I've already tried that and gotten nowhere. If you want to have a SENIOR staffer discuss with me, you have my contact info.

Takes way too long to set up and verify an account and then wouldn't accept payment and then not easy to use at all with a charger. I ended up setting up an account on the app, but then just used a credit card at the charger instead which was way easier than trying to get the app to work at the charger.

charging for the first time was extremely difficult. there are no satisfactory instructions, and if it weren't for a kind stranger, I would have left there very frustrated, but. other than that, charging didn't take as long as I expected. there is one other thing. there were multiple cars finished with charging, but there drivers were fast asleep. if I had been waiting for a turn to charge my vehicle, this would have been very frustrating.

No autofill options for address, credit card, or anything. No google pay or option to scan card with camera. Requested my vehicle info, whether I owned or rented, when my rental would be over. No qr codes to download app on the charger. Name of the charger was hard to find (which you need to start charging). Overall bad experience compared to other charging apps/recharge stations

overall app works pretty great, usually can get a session started without too much challenge. the loss of 1 starts is that after multiple attempts over the past few months, I've never been able to enroll in the autocharge+ feature. it always gives me an "error occurred, please try again" dialog. I'll update this if I ever see it work.

This app has stopped working ever since I went to a new phone... that being my Samsung galaxy s22 plus... it simply doesn't show any stations anywhere....it just says "unable to locate stations, adjust your filters" I check all the filter settings on and off and nothing...Update - I just got off the phone with support and the problem was with my account being frozen as such it disables some of the functions of the app...it's resolved now. I gave it 4 stars for their quick customer service.

Update Evgo app doesn't allow you to stop the charge from your phone. The touch screen malfunctions at various locations causing me to have to wait up to a minute for it to stop. Both ChaDemos on the West side are infamous for having to call customer service to stop charging and they don't have emergency off buttons. Evgo chargers cost more up front than other stations and are slower. I often have to plug in and disconnect then try again because it couldn't connect the first time.

I have not had one single session stay on the app. Everytime I charge I have to guess what time it'll finish if I leave the station. What's the point of showing the percentage when it bugs out and doesn't even show you're charging anymore yet will show the station as occupied. Make it make sense.
