One t set up, EteSync works really well, you don't even notice it's there. It's considerably more private and secure than using Google Calendar, or another mainstream unencrypted provider. You can use almost any calendar app with it (I use SimpleCalendar, which is open source and works well). EteSync is 100% definitely worth spending a couple dollars on, or installing on your home server. I recommend it to all my friends, 5 Stars

I want to like this app on principle, but it just doesnt work properly for me. Set up and initial sync of contacts seems to work fine, can see in contacts app, but after some time the contacts app just shows an empty address book even tho the sync journal shows the contacts have synced & should be there. I have tried clearing data, reinstalling, same thing happens every time. I use a self hosted server rather than the paid service, so maybe this app just doesnt work so well with custom servers.

Maybe I just wasn't patient enough, but I just needed a simple app for notes sharing and I couldn't make it work with EteSync Notes - e.g. I don't understand how collections in EteSync are related to task lists in EteSync Notes but they are not in sync. Perhaps it is just my ignorance, but I expect a more intuitive workflow for such a simple job.

Nice app to sync your contacts, calender, and notes. Want to get away from Google, this is the application for you. Huge drawback is the payment setup..it is frustrating and not an easy process. Overall, well worth it and getting away from Google is a huge plus.

Excellent product and service. Well worth supporting the developer's work by subscribing. I tried rolling my own self-hosted caldav/carddav service using a couple different FOSS applications, but each had quirks I didn't want to deal with. EteSync has worked flawlessly for me, and eliminated the time I'd have to spend maintaining more server-side apps. Thanks for the great product!

Very excited this app and service exists. I'll be signing up for the free two week trial to see what I think. Replacing my contacts and calendars? Encrypted end to end? Wow. I love it!!

It's impossible to create an account. They send you an email confirmation link and within seconds it's expired? There's no option to resend either. Lol.

One of a kind. There is nothing like it on the market. I am testing it and so far it works well. Even got it to sync with outlook desktop client. If all goes well I'll become paid user in a week or two.
