This app has quite a few selections. But what plagues this app is what plagues most drum apps...too many flashy rhythms that are hard to play danceable music. Just provide some straight forward normal 3/4 and a 4/4 that does not sound like the syncopated "Coffee House" uke rhythms. Maybe it's in the premium tracks. But without the standards in the free version, what impetus is there to use it from the start. 60 years pro rocker. and this one is not usable for me. My EHX DRM is more usable.

Not worth the effort to navigate menus and watch an ad with every tap to even give this steaming pile of greed a chance. The beats are not even visualized by measure, they are visualized by a circle that represents the whole sound clip, who knows where the measures are unless you count. Useless for guitar practice and not worth $30 when there are free options. They're just drum beats, come on. 9 out of 10 of them you'll never use

the concept is very good for practice but not for accompaniment. not what is was looking for , however I did find the sound of the tracks very professionally done. I was actually looking for something that could work with swapping modes during a song much like the workstation drum patterns.

All the basics for loops and rhythm selection are there. There templates offer a excellent variety and depth to select whatever stream of music best interests you. Personally as a guitar & bass player goes I do like the ability to customize things. If this app could offer pitch tuning and rhythm count 1/8 & 1/16 this would be excellent and it could out do many of the already many types of apps in this area presently online.

The only features I lost from my old loop app (loopz) that I miss is the over all tempo setter. You set a tempo and All beats conform to that tempo which makes it quicker to find a beat you like in the tempo you want. Also miss the lock feature, that locks a beat's tempo. Accidental swiping happens and can be embarrassing infront of people. Other then that Gained way more then I lost. Great app

Im just now trying this one,but i tried Loop ROCK first. And i must say i'm impressed. Very realistic like having a real dummer. Not synthesized or video gameish at all. Real symbols bass and snare drum sound. Coupled with a good bluetooth speaker pump it up and jam. Loops seamlessly not glitchy at all totally 5 stars. Im jim clayton and Im proud to be a google beta tester.

I play Bass so this is an invaluable tool for me. Its UI is comprehensive and easy to use and the rhythmic patterns are synonymous with what you would find in real life. Individual tempo adjustments make it easy to customize as you see fit. Not much you can do to make it better than it already is. 5 stars well deserved.

Some of kit sounds simply aren't accurate/appropriate of the genre (espesially the 'jazz' loops) and that really hinders you to be able to get in the mindset of the music in question and practice to suit. Why are there NO BLUES LOOPS!!!
