5G Device & Network Check helps you verify if your phone supports 5G NR, common bands (e.g., n78/n28), and SA/NSA modes. Use quick links to open Settings and switch between 5G / 4G / LTE where supported.
FEATURES
- 5G compatibility check: device, software & radio readiness.
- SA/NSA detection: Standalone and Non-Standalone capability (when exposed).
- NR bands insight: highlights bands such as n78 and n28 when the device reports them.
- Quick settings shortcuts: open Mobile Network & Preferred Network Type screens.
- Advanced network stats: signal strength and current data network type.
- Dual-SIM aware: view SIM-wise status.
- Lightweight: no root required.
HOW IT WORKS
The app reads system-exposed telephony information to assess 5G support and provides shortcuts to the relevant settings so you can select 5G/4G/LTE on compatible devices and networks.
NOTES & LIMITATIONS
- 5G availability depends on hardware, firmware, carrier plan, and local coverage.
- Some devices/carriers hide or lock network options; the app cannot enable 5G on unsupported phones or areas.
- Band and SA/NSA details may be limited by your device’s APIs and software version.
- On many phones, 5G works only on one SIM at a time.
FOR INDIA
Common 5G bands include n78 (3300–3800 MHz) and n28 (700 MHz). Results may vary by device and operator (e.g., Jio, Airtel, Vi). This app helps you verify whether your device exposes support for these bands and modes.
PRIVACY
No root required. The app uses standard Android telephony APIs and device settings. We do not modify network configuration beyond opening the relevant settings screens.

I'm not really one to write reviews, but this app let me re-enable my 5G through a secret menu after i accidentally disabled it somehow and was stuck with LTE for several months, saved me a lot of frustration, ads are a bit much but overall useful

I would have given 4* if there weren't so many ads. Since this app did do more then the other "force 5g" app I tried. But since other review mentioned that the app says "congratulations 5g" for phones the reviewer knows isn't 5g. So the info can't be trusted. But the info is interesting. Which is why I gave 3*.

My device doesn't even have 5G antennas and it say, "Congrats, your device supports 5G". 😂. Total spam application! Edit: It shows too many ads. 🤬. Also the function didn't work, but the ads did! 🤬

Good measuring app. You can check all info about your phone status. Btw it seems that my phone is not compatible with 5G network. It supports LTE at least. 😂

Clearly the programmers are more spammer than anything else because you have to wait a minute every time you press a button just waiting for the information that you shouldn't have to go through requesting.

If app is correct my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ SM-N975W Supports 5G network connectivity. Too late at night to check using Google but if app is correct than I stand by my 5 star rating. Double check using internet and phone model to be sure.
