Very barebones app, missing essential features. No ability to edit your messages. No voice mode at all, it's a miss for accessibility. Search is subpar and you can't force the model to enable it. When it does search, the results are very few and often off topic. The model is very fast but doesn't show its thinking. It has no personality and is confidently wrong most of the time. Image generation is very fast too but ignores part of the prompt.

Really really good. Le Chat from Mistral AI is an impressive AI assistant. Its fast, accurate, and super easy to use. Whether you need help with something complex or just a quick answer, it delivers every time. Plus, its finally a proud European alternative to the big American and Chinese players. If you’re looking for a reliable and smart assistant, Le Chat is definitely worth checking out!

As well sourced as Chat GPT, faster and just as accurate. At last, a significant European advance in high technology. Let's not let the AI opportunity pass us by once again. All Europeans need to start using Mistral AI on a massive scale, as it finally represents a serious alternative to the American and Chinese models!

Fast and accurate AI (made in Europe, too!). Only criticisms are that the app occasionally crashes/stops working when you try to type a prompt (quite rare, but happened), and that some pictures/images don't cross over from the web browser version.

This app has some serious shortcomings. The features, options, and overall usability could be greatly improved. The AI model also needs work. It feels like talking to a much earlier generation of AI, similar to GPT-3 or Gemini 1.0. It struggles with nuanced understanding and lacks a human-like awareness in conversation.

Similar to the DeepSeek app, the fact we can't directly share selected text or links into the app makes this app no better than using their mobile friendly website. In fact the mobile website is better as it can process URLs and documents, the app can't. It really doesn't take much effort to implement this feature into any app, so I'm not sure why Mistral hasn't.

No ability to switch agents with a sleek package. Forces me to @ my agent in a web browser and come back to the app to talk. Can't edit messages and can't explore permutations of conversations. Overly bare bones and idiot-resistant experience. Sloppy, rushed, barely functional experience.
