It's amazing and open source. I switched from andOTP because it's no longer maintained. Can you add built-in icon packs like andOTP without the need to download them externally. Most 2FA apps have this built-in. And assigning them automatically rather than individually one by one. Other than that. It's perfect and awesome. Thank you

Loving it so far. Though I do have one feature request. The main reason we open an authenticator app is to copy the codes. So I thought it would be better if we can copy the code with one tap instead of hoding down and then tap copy on top. That will be very slick. Update: thanks for the quick response devs. Kudos. The app became more fluent to me👍

This is a good open-source and offline only method of storing 2FA codes instead of some more well-known authenticator apps. I lost the 2FA code for one of my accounts stored in here after an apparent bug, but the developers promptly reached out to me and it seems to have resolved after a reboot. I only had one account stored with this, but others may consider keeping a backup option.

I selected this app out of a long list of other (free) authenticator apps at least a couple years ago, expecting to try several before finding one I'd keep. I ended up not switching after installing and using Aegis, and from what I've read online recently, it's a great choice. Kudos to those who've worked on this app. 👌

This app far exceeded my expectations! The security of this 2FA app surpasses any similar app, mainly because it has security options and the other apps don't. I very much like that I can hide all codes and only show what I need. I've only had one minor issue, and that is its cooperation with lastpass. Lastpass pops up to input the password, but I just want to use the fingerprint method. Upon closing the lastpass pop-up, it won't take my fingerprint. I'm certain that I can stop lastpass from popping up for this specific app, but I don't understand why this app stops accepting fingerprints after it does.

Exactly what I was looking for! It's open source, ad-free, and lets me control my keys. It doesn't suck all my data into the cloud and lock it up like some other authenticator apps do. I can back up my keys where and when I want to. It's not tied to a SIM or phone number, so I can move to another device any time I want. This app has worked with every site/server I've tried (4 so far)...

Came over from andOTP, since it appears to be unmaintained. All of my entries were easily added into Aegis by scanning QRcodes. Very nice user experience. One feature I would like to see in the future is a way to visually see when the code is about to change. Some authenticators have a countdown or progress indicator. andOTP changes the color of the numbers to red shortly before they expire. Otherwise, this is a perfect app.
Meddle
Simple yet secure. Does everything you need it to do, without being bloated down by ads or unnecessary features. Best of all, you can back up your 2FA vault to an encrypted file, which you can also use to access your codes from another device if you wish to. That was exactly the functionality I had been looking for, so that my codes remain secure, yet still accessible from multiple devices just in case. UI design is very clean as well, and completely free. I definitely reccommend.
