App sucks for lights. I bought BrizLED lights that only work with this app and it's been slnothing but trouble. It couldn't find the lights by scanning so had to be done manually. Now that they're connected, I can't customize the colors. The scenes only have 6 color options. Not happy. Right now. Hopefully I'm missing something.

I thought I was going crazy. I bought 3 sets of these lights - 1 on one occasion. They worked awesome, so I bought 2 more a week later. For some reason those didn't work, I tried everything and going as deep as my phone permissions, wifi permissions, and accounting for RF issues. Turns out: it uses the other Brizlabs app (blue background) even though they are from the same Amazon link! Scan the QR code on your lights and be sure you are using the right app! Otherwise these work great!

App took a while to figure out how to get it stop crashing. For me, I disabled location services but enabled Bluetooth and anything else it asked for except notifications. As soon as I turn location back on, it crashes. Works fine with it off, although it does ask me to enable location a couple of times in the app (close button is in top left corner of popup instead of saying continue which would re-enable location). Good luck!

My so does not look anything like the images not does it allow for any of the functionality supposedly included. Opening it up and you get a bare white screen with incredibly limited functionality, can't create a scene, can only set timers. Won't even let me control the colors of the lights individually like it's supposed to. I wish I'd never bought this product.

This app is in terrible need of an update. I haven't figured out what causes the crashing. As soon as you open it, it will close itself. The only way to stop this is to uninstall and reinstall the app. I was able to finally get the app paired to my lights. Now I can set up the lights once, and then the app crashes forcing me to reinstall the app each time just to turn them on or off.

I've read a million bad reviews about this app. It took me a while to figure out how to connect them. "Android" You need to go the "permissions" seriously if you can't connect go into your permissions and look around a little bit. You'll find that you need to allow the permissions "WiFi". Again if you're having connection issues you can't connect it to your phone and it says Bluetooth soft and this and that you need to go to permissions. I hope this helps someone. RBG xmas cluster strand.

Kinda garbage app. Doesn't manage state well, ui is clunky at best. Doesn't seem to have had a UX pass at all. Lights themselves appear to be hit or miss on quality. One strand works reasonably well, the other has poor quality control and about 5% of the bulbs are 10% as bright as they are supposed to be. Second star is for technically functioning enough to pass settings to the lights if you fiddle with it.

Works pretty alright but really needs to be able to use custom colors in the special modes, it gives you the choice of like 8 colors and it doesn't work well as a result since sometimes the color you're looking for isn't there (like orange) or the color it thinks the device is displaying is incorrect (like yellow and green being identical)
