May 2024 Paid Subscription Still Has Ads!!! I fell for it again, but at least I only paid for 1 week. THIS APP offered an IN-APP subscription with no ads. Clicked through and paid. The next hand indeed had no ads. And then the very next one was right back to full-on ads. Between hands it can take from 2-8 clicks to get through them -- they don't even close on 'x', when it finally appears. (Is that even legal in Europe?)

Very nice implementation. I'd like to pay and get rid of the ads unfortunately skat HD is according to Google play "incompatible with all of your devices". Very strange considering this free one is according to the same Google Play compatible with all my (too many) devices, as a matter of fact the free one installs and runs fine on both Android and ChromeOS (where the bigger screens are a plus for all board games, I digress). Another digression: once again Google Play tries to be "helpful" by... hiding skat HD from me, grrr... It took me a long time to discover skat HD even exists. Maybe I'll be able to buy it some day.

Ok to kill time at airports. The "helper" is probably useful for absolute beginners, but frequently gives false advice and makes you lose games you could have won. Check it out in repeat mode, after lost games. Algorithm sometimes makes ludicrous suggestions. But anyway, it's more fun to think and evaluate risks for yourself. The old guy's hands are far too good far too often, and he gets flawless Grands everytime you get a serious Null Open hand. Annoying.

The lessons are not in English so would have give 4 stars but the interface, modes, settings and feel of the game are good enough to justify 5. The ads can be annoying but the full version is a bit expensive.

Absolutely perfect. Play online with friends or face very good computer opponents. Also comes with the tools to analyse your playstyle and a lot of challenges to improve your game knowledge. Honestly can't think of anything I would change

This is a really nice Skat implementation. I like that my girlfriend and I can play with a computer on the third hand, and I like being able to replay a hand against the computer when I've made a dumb mistake... Definitely helps with relearning the game!

Great graphics! I played other Skat apps and they were basic and simple. This one had so much variety. The choice to play with friends or versus the computer is a huge plus. I would recommend this Skat app above all others! I'm hooked!
