Best bid whist game that I've played. Only two issues; north partner doesn't always help out like a live partner would. They always throw the lead back to me instead of playing their hand and letting me throw off some of my cards. Also, I would love to be able to download this on my iPhone. The bid whist games in the apple store are terrible! 2024 Update: North partner gameplay has improved and the opponents have gotten more challenging. Overall the game has improved for the better.

After a couple of years of use, updating from 4 to 5 stars. The app has been extremely reliable and the options encompass nearly every variation possible. Original review from 2016 follows... I like the game a lot and play often. With all of the settings options I can play the exact rules I used to play many yrs ago. I like that it merges the kitty with your hand before you pick your discards. I also like that the 3 computer hands can claim all remaining tricks to speed up play. Hoping they will someday allow ME to claim remaining tricks. Also, graphics & animation are decent and easy to read.

Love the way I can customize the play eg. Cards with a larger font. I could add my own name. The game moves quickly. i stopped playing this game because the computer bidding is stacked against the player. A low bid should be allowed without raising the bid which can cause the player to over extend himself to get the bid. The bid should be high, low or no on any level.

Good game. I would give it 5 stars but game play has the north player, your partner, playing like a junior. It leads off with stuff only a newbie would do. That's frustrating! The east and west players always play as a team, winning bids and leading with trump cards. North will play into there hand. This is nothing but bad programming IMHO. Would be much better if all players played according to the level.

Update: 9/29/22 - Just made a change and there is no Advice when prompted/ requested during bidding or selecting suit. What happened? It was .......The Best One out there! Teaches you how to play, provides hints, replays action, with options galore, and so much more! I bought the ad free version within 4 days of play! Very well worth it! Get this one. Don't waste your time with others!

Only a week of bid whist play. This is the best bid app I have been able to find. It has a major flaw I am finding, if I am not able to figure out I will continue to search for a more competitive bid game. Problem being, a player, even my partner, will not play to win a given book. For example, if I play a Jack, next player play a queen, my partner play a high card win king, the next player play a loosing eight, but have the winner Ace in their hand🧐

The opponent takes the bid most of the time. The partner and kitty usually have the cards the opponent needs thus the computer rarely gets set. I rarely get a hand that I can bid on, but when I do it's obvious that the kitty and my partners cards are stacked in my favor which also takes the fun out of the game This version of the game does not reflect the outcome in real time, but I gave it 2 stars because the other versions are worse.

I wish the number of points to win could be adjusted. Edit: Since my first review six years ago, many adjustments have been made. I'm happy to be able to adjust the game and play the way I was taught by my parents. The only difference is both the 2 of diamonds and 2 of spades both were high trumps. Other than that, I love it!!!
