This worked ok when it used the CoveSmart app for its cameras. But out of nowhere cameras wouldn't connect and turns out they no longer support them and you have to get the Kami app which is absolutely HORRIBLE. Ads you can't get passed. No chance you can see your video feed in an emergency. The only solution is to pay a second subscription to Kami (so you're paying for two subscriptions, Cove and Kami) or buy new cameras from Cove. Boo!

I've been with Cove for five years now. I love the system. It works great for my needs. I've only had to call customer service maybe three times. They're on top of my concerns and send out replacements when needed. I only gave four stars because I no longer have camera access through their app. I've since had to replace all the Kami cameras with eufy, which is so much better, but I shouldn't have to have two separate apps for all my security needs. It's also not a huge deal.

App access for panel controls only being available to Plus ($26 plan/month) users almost makes the entire system useless. The app can also be more streamlined, organized, and offer ways to add and take payment options off, make payments, and purchase replacement equipment or additional if you already have it. While the panel may do what is asked, the app is a huge part of controls and adjustments for the panel and it can be faulty. It'd be nice to adjust other features of the panel via app too.

This app is absolute garbage. I've had cove for more than 6 months now and I have never been able to sign into to app. I never even hooked up the cameras and door bell because I literally can't set them up or view them. Customer service had nothing to say aside from "did you uninstall and reinstall?" As if that wasn't the first thing I did. Makes me want to look into other security companies all together.

App no longer functions, my cameras can no longer be viewed, deleted, or reconnected in the app. When I was able to view them the delay was way too long, you can't access your doorbell cameras from the Cove app, you have to use a seperate app for any doorbell or outdoors cameras that come with your Cove package, they don't tell you that when you buy them, and Alexa can never connect to my system to show who's at my door. At this point I'm ready to switch over to Vivant.

I don't receive any motion or human detection alerts. I have all permissions allowed to the app, it's up to date, on the same internet etc etc. It has never sent me any alerts on motion. I get doorbell notifications, but they are about 1-2min delayed. More than half the time, the cameras will take over a min to load on the app, and you can only view one at a time. I'm highly considering changing security systems, this does not seem worth the cost.

Had some bugs at first when trying to log in. They seem to be fixed now. Also there was no info on how to log in, without contacting support. But I'm happy with the system so far. Cove is a new company, so I get that they have bug's to work out. Thier customer support was friendly and helpful. Also I would like to see online account management, with billing update preferences in the future.

The interface isn't great to begin with, but suddenly I randomly have issues being able to log in. It just cycles an error over and over and the only way I've been able to fix it is uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Not exactly convenient when I'm trying to quickly arm/disarm the alarm, or check a notification that my camera saw a person in my house.
