Aas others have said, the developer had a brilliant idea. But also like they said, not being able to turn the lock sceen off until I need it back on is very annoying. I think a better idea would be to give us a notification to enter the app instead of forcing us to view it at inappropriate times. Also, I'm not sure where the translations come from when using the search, but some are not right and are completely unrelated to the sentence.

This app is super unique and a great way to learn a new word everyday. It keeps you in practice and thinking about it. I really enjoy this app and think it's such a brilliant idea. Having access to constantly learning Japanese especially for those that play on their phone often, this is perfect for it. My only complaint is I wish it had a option to turn it off until I turn it back on, instead of just for a day.

Right now this is just a flashcards app with a cluttered interface. The idea of randomly showing the app ontop of what you were doing is original (and could be useful), but isn't helpful if the app itself isn't effective at teaching you the language. For proper language acquisition, the devs should look into adding images, making the sound play automatically, and the interface should be decluttered for ease of use. Short stories that use the words that a user has learned could also be useful.

This app is perfect for anyone serious about learning a language quickly. Even if it means getting slightly annoyed every time I pick up my phone, it's worth it. I hope it continues to evolve and offer more languages in the future.

Fun at first, but when I tried to turn it off it suddenly started popping up whenever I closed the lock screen. I removed all permissions(including setting the app to deep sleep) because I wanted to use the app later. But still the notification appears when I close lock screen. I even tried data backup but nothing happens, just blank screen. So I now have removed the app and lose all my progress. Very frustrating, they broke all the rules.

Once installed it has an annoying habit of forcing its way back onto the screen even after turning the app off. I prefer apps I can control rather than apps that try to control me. Uninstalled immediately.

I downloaded this app after seeing an ad. It locked down my phone until I gave it access to my data (I couldn't even turn off my morning alarm) and after one single kanji asked me to pay money to advance even though there were ads. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
