The app works as described. Being able to string my notes across multiple devices with either importing or exporting them by hand or using an online cloud storage is a lifesaver. And with it being FOSS, it's nice to have a peace of mind that it can last forever. If there is to be a free and open-source way to sync data over a LAN or direct Wi-Fi as an option, instead of having to use a limited or proprietary situation for that, this app may be future proof all around.

My experience is very brief but already love it. I like tags over folders. One crazy wish I hoped was as common as checklists. There are items I would love to timecode. In other words bought a product and want to know the days/weeks/months/years since purchased. This would set the app apart from all the others. The coding is not difficult. Add feature to checklist to optionally include age. Why no import from onenote or other note taking apps? Love the fact I can keep local if desired.

Compared to many other free note taking apps, this one truly impresses. Every notepad app I checked had some sort of catch that made it unusable. My new phone didn't come with a notepad app, and I missed my old LG app that had everything I wanted plus more, and this one fills that gap. This may not have all the bells and whistles, but at least it has all the features I consider bare minimum, for free, without signing up, and without requiring a network, and without ads. Bravo!

Super product!! Simple, clean user friendly interface! I have never seen such a well written product. It can synchronize notes between a windows desktop and multiple android devices. Sensitive data can be kept in a "safe" and the contents encrypted with a passcode. The data can be searched. Everything is done at lightning speed. It is so much better than using Outlook and third party synchronizing programs. I am so glad and thankful I found this app when I had to give up using Microsoft office. The author releases updates and is very responsive to questions user may have.

Seems like a solid app - I guess? The text is really tiny with no way to increase? Except to make it bold? Maybe there is a way but it's not intuitive nor easy to find. This app makes a big deal out of exporting to HTML to "save formatting," but the formatting it allows is limited. Some presets for headers and a couple other things. I don't want or need presets. Just let users choose text size. Easy. Or allow the page to be zoomed lol. But then the exported file, the text would be tiny. Oh well.

Found this app after switching phones from LG to Moto. Was using QuickMemo+ for LG which is a great app. But had to find a different one for my Moto. SilentNotes is the best I could find to replace it. Though it would be nice to have a few optional widgets to put it on Home screen. Would like to see a date created/edited at the bottom of each note.

Five stars for perfect app. but can you add option to show text right-to-left for arabic language. edit2.and to be able to export notes to text files also. edit3. and to be able to import text notes to the app as I now copy and paste note by note to migrate to your assume app. edit.4 and option to hide tags below note and hide Add tag box. edit5. plus sign should disappear when scroll down. thanks

The main thing keeping it from five stars for me is that every time you switch to another app and come back, it jumps up to the top of the note, instead of staying scrolled down where you were, which can get very annoying. Otherwise, I love it
