I ended up paying for no ads, but mainly because I think it's a decent app. So far, the only thing that's been a hiccup for me was underatanding the "grinder" settings. Im assuming it's clicks? Or maybe micron movement? It's not clear, but it's still usable. I think what would be better is to allow us to choose clicks, movement l, and rotations. All that would be needed was the ability to add a unit of measure and to be able to use multiple periods. An example would be x.xx.xx for the digits.

I've tried several coffee apps over the past few months, and I can say with confidence that Brew Timer is my favorite. I like the UI, and being able to separate recipes by brew devices. The ads were bothersome, but the cost to remove them is reasonable, so I did. My only nitpick is the "add your grinder" feature. I have a hand grinder that has 240 clicks or steps, but you can only input up to 99 steps in the app. I found a workaround for it, but it is not as intuitive as I would have hoped.

I like the app, have only used it a couple times now and have a few tiny nitpicks 1. As someone who has used a normal timer for a while I wish I could see the total elapsed time for the brew instead of just the countdowns for the steps. 2. I wish I could drag and drop the steps when editing recipes instead of only being able to move them up one place at a time. 3. I also wish to be able to see total brew time in the recipe writer. These are small nitpicks, excellent app overall.

Better than a fancy scale! Buy this app instead of a $200 coffee scale. With a simple $30 scale and this app you have everything you need for perfecting your brew. The presets and shared recipes are a great place to get started for beginners and these ease of building and tweaking your own recipe is great for coffee perfectionists. I do wish it had an export function. I worry a little about data loss and would hate to lose my recipes.

I've tried most popular, and this app by far is still the best while lacking here and there. But it's still useful though. I love the UI and icon choice, but your logo needs major rework haha sorry. The recipe editor is wonderful to use. What you need is more user and manpower to execute all your great ideas. Keep progressing dev.

Nice app but I would like a setting to display water in either ml or "ounces". Also, "Adjust Brew Amount" would be nice if it had a setting to calculate based on number of desired cups without having to do manual calculations for those times you don't want to make a full pot. Those 2 would make this a 5 star rating.

Spent about a freaking HOUR typing things... Then I see I can sign in to save my recipes... As soon as I signed in it deleted my recipe. Uninstalling. Edit: No, I was not signed in to any account at all. And it was clearly indicated that if I DIDN'T sign in, I would lose my recipes. The language here is confusing and the function is inadequate. When I signed in, the recipe should have transferred to the account established. Any other good app would move the recipe into the account, not trash it

Decent, best from what I have tried out, regularily using it. Still, I would appreciate improvements such as: favourite recepies should appear first, not upon an extra click. One should be able to specifically log custom brew parameters, especially grind setting, which is something you do tweak on and on, and temperature and coffe name. Grind settings should also allow three-digit number of steps as many grinders have hundreds. A brew step with a duration of zero stops the process = a bug.
