Great story line, devs give lots of rewards and easy to get leveled up fast, ads aren't bad because you get massive exp. The story is multiple individual stories mashed together with an amazing plot and overall is absolutely breathtaking. I've played Genshin, Summoner's War but this game takes real skill and careful planning. It's a great game. Devs can we get the next Octo A Liveevil part 3 rewards already.

It is certainly an awesome game. I have been playing it since it was released and loved most aspects of it. My rating is lowered, however, due to the fact that the data transfer between devices has failed me twice, undoing my progress and forcing me to restart both times.

It is so much fun! The mechanics are fairly easy to understand and the battle format is fun, engaging, and never gets old! As someone who has been playing for over a year, this is my favorite RPG. The main character switch let's you play who you want and the bosses are genuinely difficult even in later game. Even device switching is incredibly easy and straightforward! 10/10 game would recommend!

I'm not entirely sure how to review this game as I loved it but when I transferred it to my new device rather than logging me into my account it created a new one with the email address I'd used to create the original account. I am disappointed as it cost a lot of money to acquire those characters and a lot of time. It became a waste of both and my time is precious.

So far I'm loving the game and gave five stars. It feels like a good old fashioned final fantasy. Edit So I've had to restart the entire game four or five times now when updated. I've given my name and player ID, as well as the requested info, then get ignored on having it all returned. I've put in so much effort, multiple times. I even registered for a backup, which obviously failed. I'm tired of restarting. I'm uninstalling the game. You guys can't even fix it with all the required info.

For the mobile version of the console games, it is certainly not lacking! In fact, if anything, there's more layers to the game to keep you invested. There's over 50 characters to collect, each with their own small story to dive into. You switch them in and out to combat bosses as their skills are needed. The turn-based combat is similar to the console game with enough variation to keep it fresh. You can eventually re-challenge bosses at varying levels for loot. Music and art is still stunning!

This is quite literally the best game of this genre I've ever played. I once deleted the app at first, I didn't realize how FUN the gameplay is. And it's all for free on mobile??? I love the creators for putting in such beautiful graphics with an appealing story as far as I've gone. It truly is in the style of a jrpg and I personally would never bat an eye at a story, but this one, along with it's visuals really makes me feel like I'm "playing" my own movie with my own choices that affect it!

The first half of the game is boring. A lot of assets, including the dungeons, are reused from Octopath 1. That said the main story quests are pretty compelling and during the second half of the game things pick up and a few new locations are introduced. Unfortunately, that is also when there is a difficulty spike between bosses and progression slows to a crawl unless you are willing to grind/shell out money.
